Those mountains parts were always so unnecessarily stressful for a little kid 😭 especially because the snowball rolls you over no matter what, so I just kept thinking I failed them somehow and kept trying to not get run over lol
Cerberus the game never really scared me as a kid, but I always felt uncomfortable playing it and would usually hate the door puzzle bit cause of the laugh
@Meiji Cats I had the exact same feeling when playing the game, here's what scared me as a kid: 1. The taller yellow guys when they jumped 2. If played on hard mode, the monsters can jump out of the fireplace and attack 3. When monsters sometimes pop out of the loose boxes 4. When Sulley screams after he loses health/dies 5. The game over screen
Out of everything I remember the items the most, like the candy and the purple pieces. Also outside the apartment for some reason, plus the matching game with the door
Oh my God such memories of this one, this was the first ever game I had for my Gameboy Advance. My sisters used to pester me when they wanted to play it, so much fun with this one

i had a gameboy advance when i was little (it may of actually been my sister's but i used to play on it sometimes) and i had been trying to remember what game i used to play and it suddenly just came back to me after about 12 years that it was this game. Here's what I remember from this game. 1. The Music from the Lobby containing levels. 2. Sully's roar sounds like "WOW" "(Literally a Lion's Roar)" 3. Randall and Waternoose as bosses, I completely forgot about the other two And that was it, I also forgot that it was one of those games where you need to enter a password to enter a specific level. Lastly, I remember beating the final boss of the entire. It was a GBA Cartridge combo packaged with Finding Nemo, I beat that too. Those were the days man.
Even though I remember having this game on the GBA, I think that the GBC port of Monsters Inc follows up with the main plot of the movie more than the GBA port imho.

As a kid I was disappointed that Sulley couldn't beat the shit out of enemies like in the PS1 game and the fact you couldn't play as Mike. The trailer on the Monster's Inc VHS made me think the game would be 3D on all platforms too lmao
Pretty decent game, but as far as sticking with the source material, a lot of strange choices were made. Particularly, why were so many monsters that had little to do with the story suddenly Sulley’s enemy? Mainly the sushi chef octopus and most bosses besides Randall and Waternoose?
I played this game as a kid with my cousin, but to this day I cannot remember the soundtrack at all. And to be honest it's one of the most mediocre soundtracks I've heard. Which, you can't expect much from a licensed game based off a movie.
bro how do I remember this so vividly without thinking about it for like 15 years. I don't think I even passed the first few levels lol

Because this game sticks out

Can't believe I still remember this and I like how everyone hates Boo's door. They just throw her parts away like trash.
This game really scared me back then. But looking back, nostalgia hits different.

I played this before!
Was that Brian Cummings voicing Sulley?
Oh yeah! I do remember playing this GBA Game when I was A kid. Hope this takes me back to scare some children!

I remember me making my monster jump on the bed all the time, having absolutely no clue about what I had to do LOL
I used to play this on my red gameboy

Gameplay wise, it’s actually really solid, but the rest really depend on others opinions.

Nope that's just how he appears, at least at the beginning of the game. It confused me when I was a kid.
