I don't know how y'all came up, but y'all are such cuties. I subscribed after I heard the first sentence that was uttered!!! ❤. I am going to love this. I need some info with skincare, plus you are obviously making it fun!! I have hyperpigmintation, and this is a perfect video to start with!❤
Aside from the Topicals Faded that I've seen recommended, I've also seen a couple skincare channels (including derms) like Urban skin rx advanced even tone day & night treatment (5% niacinamide, 3% tranexamic acid, 2% kojic acid, 1% bakuchiol) and Touch bright and clear cream* (10% azelaic, 5% niacinimade, 3% kojic acid, 3% tranexamic acid) and PCA and LRP both have products with kojic acid. As for the galactomyces ferment filtrate, I see One Thing has one (another in a line of ones that folks compare to the SK-II).
Thank you for this episode! Definitely kojic acid is a good supplementary ingredient... Even though in Japan kojic acid products are not that common and If you find something with that it's in the upper middle price range. Anyways there is a skin brightening home beauty practice in Japan when making face pack with sake lees -sakekasu- that is known to be high in kojic acid. You can buy fresh high quality sake lees in local sake manufacturers in Japan.
We actually did a this vs that compared to hyper skin's product. It actually really depends on what other hyperpigmentation products you're using because no matter what, to really tackle hyperpigmentation it's going to take a whole arsenal of actives. Topicals is a good add on for routines that might not have a lot of niacinamide and tranexamic acid plus it's blend of other helpful actives. Hopefully that makes sense!
