Me thinks you should look to a job with rmc in coaster design. As much as I love the old American eagle because it was the first big coaster I rode as a kid in the 80s back when it raced. This would be a very faithful recreation with rmc as the ones to build it.
i can dig it, but idk if i am allowed to say that. a bunch of woodie lovers are gonna come and find me now. we gotta leave their precious, dilapidated hunks of junk alone lol
It's good, but you took away the helix at the end and made the ending not long enough. You should find a way to keep that old element and also put the white railing back.
im not sure which helix you mean so i'll just talk about both, as well as the ending. so the big helix halfway though, it was pretty late at night and i really wanted to finish it, so i just got rid of one of the times it goes around. if its the helixes at the end, since i built the blue side first, i made it a helix as to be faithful to the original, but for the red side, i wanted it to be as close as possible when it comes to which side finishes first, so i replaced the helix with some turns with an inversion thrown in, but it ended up just making the red side too long. i was too tired to change it so just left it like that. as for the ending being too short, i actually made sure that the distance from the opening turn-around to the start of the big helix was nearly identical, and when i saw the end in nolimits, i also thought it was a lil quick, but the only reason i can think of as to why that is, is just the fact that its faster due to the added height. white railing would probably be a good idea if there was a way to compliment it with red and blue, because otherwise it would look like i forgot to set the rail color before rendering. thanks for the feedback though!
yeah i see it too but im still getting used to making RMCs in FVD since the pov thats shown there looks a lot slower than it does in NoLimits, but thanks for the feedback! Glad you like it!
That’s the worst part about fvd. I have made some intamin rides that were crawling in no limits but look amazing in fvd. The best solution I have found is to make tiny pieces of track and put a speed correction in it for the fvd model.
yeah this was something that i had to just deal with because it was hard to tell how much bigger the track would've been when importing it into nolimits from fvd, so i picked a safe distance, rather than having the clipping into one another.
@@daleftuprightatsoldierfield Fair but I think a lot of old wooden coasters just have that sort of charm to them so it’s good to keep them as is, but like you said some actually need it
This thing is getting VERY old, so old that it's constantly down and barely open long enough for 100-300 people a day to ride it a day (which isn't a lot of people for a coaster if this capacity) not to mention that when it is open, it's only running one side. What is the point of keeping it this way if for the most part the public can't experience it. The structure is literally falling apart and for something THIS big six flags even with the combined companies they likely can't fix it without making a hybrid structure. There's a line where nostalgia and want isn't enough to keep something running. If rather they RMC this instead of tearing it down and building something else there. You can preserve it's history while also making something new out of it.
I think the Red Side looks like more fun, but I'd ride them both. Thanks for making and sharing this!!

AMAZING DOUBLE 100000 THUMBS UP
Definitely ride both 💪💪💪
first ever whippy transitions on a rmc lol

I wish. American eagle has so much potential. It is an absolutely enormous roller coaster. I don’t think people realize how large it is

The big helix part of the ride reminds me of twisted colossus
I think the transition pieces in and out of airtime are a bit janky, but I love the style of the layout!

This needs more that 15 likes
Give it two laps
bro that first drop was steep
yep! i always love when RMC puts vertical drops on their coasters, so i did it here too.
the tracks are too far apart to realistically follow the path of the real ride
yeah this was something that i had to just deal with because it was hard to tell how much bigger the track would've been when importing it into nolimits from fvd, so i picked a safe distance, rather than having the clipping into one another.
can we just keep some wooden coasters as wooden coasters not everything has gotta be rmc
This one desperately needs it. It’s in really bad shape
