I am a woman, and I do not think that standards should be lowered for women to get a job as a police officer, fire fighter, secret service.. Equality should be equal. If a man has to do 100 push up and carry a 200 pound person to meet the standard for a fire fighter, a woman should have to meet the same standard. That is equality.
Total agree. I am a woman and I would never want to see a woman fire fighter come to save me if my house was on fire. As far as female police, that’s almost worse. They are less likely to be able to physically restrain a criminal so they are more likely to use lethal force as an equalizer. Women should be a rarity in these jobs if in them at all.

I often think of the comedian Jim Jefferies in one of his stand up shows arguing that there were other nations that enjoyed the same freedoms of Americans without the second amendment. At the time I agreed with him. Then COVID lockdowns happened. I think we’re all starting to understand how important the American 2nd amendment actually is.
The way biden handled the tax credit back in 21 screwed me and a lot of other people. It was a prepayment of the credit and most people had no idea why. The issue was for those people that had their taxes balanced assuming the tax credit would come off the balance when they did their taxes in April or whatever suddenly no longer had half of that credit. No one knew they needed to increase their monthly withholdings to account for it. I got $600/month for that 6 months and honestly I didnt even know it was happening until several months in. It was too late to opt out by that point, but I made sure to let people I knew know what has going to happen. Sure enough, next spring when I do my taxes I had the pleasure of needed to pay all of that back. I am sure a lot of people were caught completely off guard. Normally I would have gotten a return below $1000, but because of that I needed to send nearly $3000. So Biden gave a bunch of people a loan, didnt really tell them it was a loan in a way a lot of people would think about, collected his points, then the media said nothing as people figured out what the consequence was. For most people a prepayment of the credit does no good because you then need to increase your withholding by the same amount to avoid getting slaughtered on tax day. Biden/harris had a lot of programs that sound good but really didnt do any good.

I actually decided to try Reddit for once to see if mabye people’s opinions about it were wrong. And good lord was I wrong about that. I decided to enter a conversation about abortion and the very first two people I talk to said abortion should be allowed all the way up to 9 months and given for any reason at all. One said “why shouldn’t a woman be able to get rid of a burden that affects their body in a negative way”. I asked “do you think it’s immoral for a woman to force a miscarriage by drinking and smoking”. They said no. Yea. Back in early 2021 I went to see if I could get a mortgage on a small home here in Tennessee, at 18/hr I could get 150,000 for a house. Now I make 22.28/hr, same area, I can still only get 150,000 due to the interest increases. I also work 50+ hours every week now and only worked 40 in 2021.

I decided to enter a conversation about abortion and the very first two people I talk to said abortion should be allowed all the way up to 9 months and given for any reason at all. One said “why shouldn’t a woman be able to get rid of a burden that affects their body in a negative way”. I asked “do you think it’s immoral for a woman to force a miscarriage by drinking and smoking”. They said no. Yea. It wasn't too bad when I was there......1985-1988........A few Leftist loons running around but not that many........and I never ran into any professors that tried to spew their liberal ideology. And I was an econ major but took a lot of history-subjects where you might see a lot of that.........I have a feeling it is very different now.

@@kenstclair453 I went to uw-whitewater and madison between 2010-2014. It wasn't outright brainwashing people at that point but it was already forcing 4 'diversity' (anti-white) classes at that point. As long as you got through those classes, the rest of the school was wonderful. It's a shame how far it's fallen in just a short 10 years.
Also, I firmly believe stupid people (those with IQs under 105), should not be allowed to attend a university. Hell, I think even those under 115 IQ shouldn't go either. It makes zero sense from multiple viewpoints. They cannot understand the material, learn zero useful skills for real life, and are easily brainwashed into ridiculous viewpoints. I know this would force 80% of college students to quit but college was for the highly intelligent to continue their studies. It's not just for anyone and everyone who wants to go...like it is now.
These people would be far more successful if they went to trade schools\2 year colleges, that also pay WAY more than most college grad jobs. Welders, plumbers, electricians, etc. I'm not looking down on those jobs either. They pay very well and still give students the ability to attend a school and have some fun.
