Ironically kabam has killed the middle/low tier spenders by doing this for years now. I used to spend just a little and play top tier. Now there’s no point so not worth even spending $1.
I think the most diabolical part of this is that it's the most competitive month ever for the highest level of players in battlegrounds. The top players will be going to Vancouver and if you're trying to compete in that buying all of these is mandatory.
Harnessing competitive natures: I dropped out 5 years ago. But I still love the game. Those hooked deeper will last longer. I’m surprised it’s still going. Back in the 3 star top champion days I thought 100$ for a 4 star was 100x too much. And look how far we’ve come since then...

Next month. July 30th marks my 8th Year Anniversary of playing this game. So what I am tryna get at is "8" years of playing going down the drain by a single 1 WEEK EVENT. This is really beyond imagination. Like my little tiny brain can't comprehend it, it really can't. Being a F2P sure getting 36k units for at least the unit offers is possible but does Kabam have any idea how long it takes to get 36k units just by grinding arena... Not to mention we also need units for Cyber Weekend, and Gifting event. Getting enough units by grinding arena as a F2P to max out on all these unit offers really is impossible unless you have no life and grind 16hrs a day ( Or you're an arena bot) Anyway let's say you do manage to max out in all of these big even offers... but what's the point? Grinding and grinding for an entire year just to get 10% of what spenders are able to get? This is hilarious. Then again, not blaming the spenders, that's totally cool. The ones to blame obviously are Kabam. There is just no point at playing this game anymore, there really isnt. Im a very competitive BGs player and thats the main reason i continue to playing this game. But there is not anymore, i cant keep up, simple. How am i supposed to keep up as a F2P with only 3 r5 when i go against players with almost a full deck of r5s&7* r2s? You cant. Anyway that was a long tangent but this event really pissed the hell out of me. Thanks to anyone who sat through all this and read it.
I hear you. Kabam is really trying to separate the top players by who spends the most, and encourage new player spending to catch up, all for their corporate greed. The players who suffer the most are those who don’t whale.
Your premise is that you’re supposed to be able to keep up with the whales as F2P. That’s impossible, it was never intended… I think if you are able to understand and accept this truly founding principle of mcoc, you will feel better. Have fun, play better than the other guy. Time matters a bit less in BGs now. That’s the best you can do, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. ❤
@@wholybatmanprior to this event, Qlirim and I were both top 200ish players in BGs, and I have even fewer r5 6* than he does. With my single r5 6*, I’ve been able to maintain top 200. This event might tip the scales though. I’m assuming he’s also FTP according to his comment, so it was entirely possible for FTP players to keep up with the whales if you’re skilled enough. Now though, idk if it is possible after this event.
In the first five years of this game I missed logging in once! And now I’m paragon and done most content, everything else seems just like a novel of nodes and a slog to fight. I came to the conclusion like you BG, that I can just wait til July 4th or cyber weekend deals and boost the account thru offers. There isn’t a real insentive to play much cos the rewards just become outdated so much quicker than they used to. Keep up the great content BG👍
Great video Brian. I was thinking about this too. It's weird to think that years back I stuggled for days agaist that Jugs in one of the early quests and now its a 1 to 3 punch, over and out for a roster you start today. When a 4 star was you best champ in the day the world was different. More interesting for sure......
The irony is the limit wasn't for "balencing" but stopping those who often spend money on the game just loading up on units during these events with extra value. Now, you load up on units, but you won't be needing them as much as you usually do as these offers push you so far ahead that you may need as much as you usually would do so. TLDR: kabam is Cannibalizing themselves for massive short-term gains but a Stagnant future
They harnasss man’s competitive nature. I had thought 100$ for a 4 star was 100x too much. I quit playing a year into 6 stars. It surprises me the game is still going... but I do note that most youtube spenders are gone. Yet the game chugs on.
I stopped playing over a year ago and I miss it but I was getting hit with every bug plus the money grab without fixing those issues. I had almost 6 years invested but people with new accounts have better accounts is what keeps me from coming back to my original account
Easy fix for that. Just enjoy the game and stop racing other people. The top 10% have always been way ahead of you why didn't that bother you? If you're always looking at other peoples accounts comparing you'll always feel like this.
Kabam's game is a genius way to reach enlightenment by experiencing a deep personal Hell and learning from it or to become it's permanent denizen if continuing to compete at the "highest" 😈 level.
Let me start by saying I agree with most of your points. The only question I have is, who are these imaginary people that you think just pick up the game and become paragon in a week?? Am I wrong? I thought progression is how you get higher offers. I understand the issue but I think the feeling of your hard work being undervalued isn't the correct focal point. The game might be easy to some but there are still many people that struggle regardless of the champs they acquire. If some one is willing to drop hundreds and then a thousand or so dollars on revives, energy, and other in game items to blast through the content to reach the same point THEN but all these deals, so be it loll. I hate that it takes away balance amongst people of the same levels but its a company that needs money and they will get it. Overall I like this point of view and don't want to come off confrontational. I wish everyone the happiest of holidays and enjoy the game however you deem fit :)

I can understand your position on this, I can see how it can make people feel after playing and time invested whilst choosing not to spend. I don't have any R5 6*s, only 3 R4s and I'm ok with that. I use to spend, not to keep up but I was enticed and could afford it at the time. Now I can't afford to do that anymore and I'm fine with that. I enjoy playing the game in a non competitive manner and enjoy it much more not spending.
This was a predictable response, we get it, you have issues with people being able to buy what you worked for…if you get bummed out because others buy what you’ve played thru the game for, then I’d say you’re motivation for playing is off.
It’s more about how it destroys the game economy. You can do a simple google search for case studies about how short of lifespans games have when they decide to sell everything.
After today I’ve gone from 0 rank 5’s to 3 and will go from 6 rank 4’s to 11. I’ve spent no money, I’ve just saved units. It’s been so fulfilling and I almost feel like I’ve cheated the system. Love this game
It’s ʎzɐɹɔ. The rewards for completing the (arguably) HARDEST challenges in the game, the Carina’s challenges, do not even compare to what you can get by just whaling out on these deals. And I did whale out, but I’m self aware at least 😂

Too sour of a video, enjoy game, life, they wanna earn, we don’t wanna give it to them.. we’ll never have what spenders have, nor the top allys or the top champs, unit offers which is all related.. majority of players, even some poor ones, peasants as somebody calls them save money for this period and are happy to buy.. don’t ruin it, it’s all about profit, management, there are no feelings involved.. no “oh, you are my most faithful summoner”.. business don’t work like this, it’s all business..I’m rather happy for new accounts getting to my level in months or weeks and whales buy stuff i’ll get in 6 months or less cause all that allows me to enjoy a game more than people commited to it..
I was just commenting something like this with my alliance mates. Left the game for over a year, came back two months ago, during that time I became Parangon and grinded 12k units in arena. So today I managed to get three offers for just 12k, I never could do something like that in previous years, and what's more: In a day I pretty much got the progress of, at least, a whole year 💀 I mean I'm happy to take it, but I also see your point, so I feel like they are rushing to squeeze the profit left off 6* and rush to 7* offers and stuff. You know, the fact that their stats alter the power balance so much and there's still 4 more ranks to see, it's crazy.
I feel ascension is going to level the playing field for those with experience and time invested I've been a moderate spender just waiting for the economy to shift, it shifted

Bro forgot his initial purpose of playing the game. The efforts, the plan, and the time spent on your own account were blessing and its own growth. It also has helped to grow your channel. Truly a marvelous thing. Even if without the channel, you should take proud of your time spent on the game to win those rewards. It should feel satisfying. It should make you feel special. Others will not have the same experience as you. They might get to where you are via monetary means (buy) but they will never get your joy from doing the contents and pushing yourself to clear out the content. So, NO! Your account is precious to you as my account is precious to me. My main aim is champion collection THEN clearing content THEN enjoying AQ/AW Cheer up man
The other issue is that Kabam has to keep a certain level of challenge in the game to keep people interested and they end up balancing new content toward the whales, making the experience for the rest of us worse. Those who don't spend on these deals also have to spend more in revives because they don't have as developed a roster or as high a rank for the champions. I'm almost dreading what Abyss 2.0 is going to look like. To be honest, this particular sales event with the double dipping on unit deals, the ability to buy thronebreaker deals if you max out the paragon ones, it just kinda feels like the last gasp of a dying company looking to juice as much as they can from players before they put this game on a skeleton crew and just "maintenance mode" this thing until everyone drops off.
100% with you BG. This will likely be the last time I spend this way on a day like this. May retire come Cyber weekend. In saying that, I didn't exactly whale like a lot did/do at a high level. 3 Odins and a black panther was more than I wanted to spend. Looking at the steam summer sales and games I want buy, you can get so much and it's basically once a year for your gaming. MCOC wants you to spend more than this 3 times a year.. (spring cleaning, July 4th and Cyber) and then the Christmas event to top it all off. It's ridiculous amounts on a game to stay where you want to be lol. The game survived for over 8 years, perhaps half of that time not having to throw out deals like this. Does Kabam need to do this to survive? Seems like they are more than milking it now- seeing what they can get away with.
In their precursor title Underworld Empires, they had events 3 times a year. Or was it 4? Anyway, they took that concept and made it weekly for MCoC. Then twice a week. Then 3 times a week. Harnessing competition. Raking in money at a much higher rate. And look how many millions it has made them! I got off the roller coaster before I earned collected. Things cost 100x too much. Yet. So many other players stayed on. It is miraculous to me that players fail to realize... less than 1% of players stick with the game. I found out by starting new alliances with new accounts. Within 2 weeks, I was the only active player remaining. So. Either leave, or quit. I chose to restart. Over and over. I recommend players start over and play till you hit the paywall. Which is deeper in the game every year. Because Kabam wants to harvest the rare and elusive fresh whales. Thar she blows!
What I don’t understand sometimes, why do you even care? Let whales be whales and so your own stuff. In my Gold1 world, my normal almost F2P roster is quite okay, and I couldn’t care less about what the spenders are doing, I don’t meet them anyway. Especially for a hardcore arena grinder like BG, these deals could be seen as a reward for the effort you put in to get the unit deals. The money people can do what they like, I don’t compare myself to those endgamers
He cares because he has worked his ass off in this game in previous years he literally grinded soo freaking hard and now seeing these one week offers basically making all that years of hard work wasted is what he's disappointed of. This discussion is repeating itself, 4* became worthless, 5* not so long ago, now it’s shifting towards 6* losing their value. The way to high progression rosters has to be shorter than some years ago, for new players being able to catch up in a certain way. I understand his frustration, though. I grinded F2P for some unit deals and I will have my first R5 soon…which is almost irrelevant, as there are many R2 7* in the realm already. I am too late! So what.
Tbh it is not about putting a r5 gem in Odin which is an issue. R5 gem in Odin is surely warranted at this point of time in game if you are paying money. The bigger issue is they made 4+1 odins available twice. So 2 kinds of odins that you can buy 5 times. That's 10 odins that you can buy. That's the major problem
as a cav, I had exactly 3750 units. spend 750 units just to get 15k 6* shards and the nexus cav crystals. Because im f2p imma keep the rest units for christmass event which is worth more for me but, at least 1st tier for f2p is so good
Good example of it is seatin. Dude was not in game for like years and yesterday he whaled out and got 3 times bigger account than mine which I grinded for years (while he was not active in game) in barely seconds.
It dose suck for FTP players. But this is a business it’s all about maximising profits. 1 whale or even 1 player buying a Odin is more important to kabam then the entire FTP player base. Remember it’s just a game do not spend unless you can afford it peeps. It’s gambling at its finest

I started a new account in late February. I’m currently lvl 53 and paragon and I have 1 rank 5 6 star champ (herc), 2 7 star champs and once I have enough gold and iso I could have 10 rank 4 6* with minimum spending. I also only run map 5 and no AW and I’ve only done the initial clear of act 1-7 with only 100% act 4 and no other content except monthly SQ and some monthly EQ, So yeah it’s crazy to think how you have been playing MCOC for several years now and I have been only playing for about 5 months and basically have comparable roster as yours. This game has ruined it for anyone that is FTP.
Ofc not just him but everyone who can't spend because we have been grinding for years wasting sooo much time and then some new dude spend on these offers and get a bigger account in merely seconds which makes all our hard works we did for years useless. This game is just disappointing. At this point I just play it for fun and not gonna be trying to be competitive

As someone who already has 4 rk 2 7*. Hes kind of right. I basically saved all my resources and only had 2 rk 5 6*. And now i just jumped to 4 rk 2 7* like nothing. Im alreadt ahead of those who rk up so many 6* to rk 5. It is kind of stupid. Since i had so much saved up in resources. I just completely skipped over what everyone elses grind for 600$. Lol
I completely disagree with the argument that in 1 week of playing you can have a stronger acct, you'd be very hard pushed to get paragon in a week and youd have play full time and spend a lot of money. Also to state that everything you've achieved in the game up until now was for nothing is a very sad way to look at it
This game is dead, I can't believe people still spend. They just had a round of layoffs, they don't care at all about the product they put out each month which is absolute trash full of bugs. They profit on the bg feature by cheating due to mods and the only way you keep your streak is to use shields you purchase so you don't lose your streak when you get matched up by a mod or by someone that completely overmatches your account. I mean how do people just keep bending over and taking it. It's insane.

You know, Ive been thinking about stopping playing for years, but this video really makes me want to. Picking up catalysts or 6* generic AGs just isn’t exciting. Even if I quit, I wont miss anything that I cant regain very quickly
I agree with you, 100%. However, without the rank5 materials, there is nothing in those offers that would make me buy them. The 7 star pool is meh, the relics meh, paragon crystals are straight garbage, 6 star awakenings are not that rare anymore and at a higher level it's raining with 6 star crystals....
What if we get to teir 4 and dont get it? Will i still get the offers renewed again after it gone in a day or can you only run the teirs back if you buy tier 4?
Are we really shocked about the offers? Games will always be catered to pay to win players. Thats why these games they stay alive for so long. A f2p player asking them not to release these levels of offers just because they’ll make their accounts look silly compared to players who bought/will buy these offers, it’s just not gonna happen. If they stop releasing these type of offers the game will shut down within a year.
Literally every single popular mobile game is there to make money. And every popular mobile game has P2P players and F2P players. F2P players need to just stop whining and accept things for the way they are. Its your choice not to spend you can't expect the game to cater to you.
What I dont get is this massive price they put on 7* shards, yet 6*s are coming in like crazy from everywhere. I was in Abeedo’s stream when the event went live and just massively disappointed to see so little of the 7* shards offered. It was very late/early morning for me in Australia, and I do believe that I have, in my weary semi-delusional state used the words “Time to pull a Brian Grant on this shit” 😂
Yeah and they should be hard to get otherwise whats the point of adding them into the game? If they give put a bunch of 7 star shards it ruins the economy of the game and then people will expect them to just keep raising the amount they offer in deals. That just snowballs until they have to release 8 stars because 7 star economy is going too fast.

Iv been f2p sense 2014 when the game came out and I genuinely love the game but it stinks of greed from revive nerf saying it would make content to easy but then everyone being able to double what iv done in the game in a day for the price of money which then is totally fine😕iv currently got two rank fours and can’t even hit paragon because resources are so outdated and now I can’t even progress in battle grounds being diamond 3 to get the extra rewards they added because war is down with everyone having such stacked accounts and so many rank 5s kicking my butt I can’t stress enough how it is a holiday but only for whales feeling like us other players don’t even exist not even a login calendar or some kind of special event for us to do so Appreciate you for the video and speaking for us players

I've been grinding my butt off to get Paragon, but since I don't have time for AW or AQ, I'm limited to story and event quests to try for my three rank 4s. Seeing stuff like this is so discouraging. This isn't stuff like Abyss where I'll probably never clear it but presumably could; this is an entire event I literally can't participate in because I don't grind arena or spend ludicrous sums of money. And I just get to watch everyone else's numbers go up.
I can see your point that any new account can have much higher account progression. But the years of experience you have in this game, will trump any new person with a crazy roster.

Your premise is that you’re supposed to be able to keep up with the whales as F2P. That’s impossible, it was never intended… I think if you are able to understand and accept this truly founding principle of mcoc, you will feel better.

@@wholybatmanprior to this event, Qlirim and I were both top 200ish players in BGs, and I have even fewer r5 6* than he does. With my single r5 6*, I’ve been able to maintain top 200. This event might tip the scales though. I’m assuming he’s also FTP according to his comment, so it was entirely possible for FTP players to keep up with the whales if you’re skilled enough. Now though, idk if it is possible after this event.

In the first five years of this game I missed logging in once! And now I’m paragon and done most content, everything else seems just like a novel of nodes and a slog to fight. I came to the conclusion like you BG, that I can just wait til July 4th or cyber weekend deals and boost the account thru offers. There isn’t a real insentive to play much cos the rewards just become outdated so much quicker than they used to. Keep up the great content BG👍
Great video Brian. I was thinking about this too. It's weird to think that years back I stuggled for days agaist that Jugs in one of the early quests and now its a 1 to 3 punch, over and out for a roster you start today.
When a 4 star was you best champ in the day the world was different. More interesting for sure......
The irony is the limit wasn't for "balencing" but stopping those who often spend money on the game just loading up on units during these events with extra value. Now, you load up on units, but you won't be needing them as much as you usually do as these offers push you so far ahead that you may need as much as you usually would do so.
TLDR: kabam is Cannibalizing themselves for massive short-term gains but a Stagnant future
They harnasss man’s competitive nature. I had thought 100$ for a 4 star was 100x too much. I quit playing a year into 6 stars. It surprises me the game is still going... but I do note that most youtube spenders are gone.
Yet the game chugs on.
I stopped playing over a year ago and I miss it but I was getting hit with every bug plus the money grab without fixing those issues. I had almost 6 years invested but people with new accounts have better accounts is what keeps me from coming back to my original account
Easy fix for that.

Let me start by saying I agree with most of your points. The only question I have is, who are these imaginary people that you think just pick up the game and become paragon in a week?? Am I wrong? I thought progression is how you get higher offers. I understand the issue but I think the feeling of your hard work being undervalued isn't the correct focal point. The game might be easy to some but there are still many people that struggle regardless of the champs they acquire. If some one is willing to drop hundreds and then a thousand or so dollars on revives, energy, and other in game items to blast through the content to reach the same point THEN but all these deals, so be it loll. I hate that it takes away balance amongst people of the same levels but its a company that needs money and they will get it. Overall I like this point of view and don't want to come off confrontational. I wish everyone the happiest of holidays and enjoy the game however you deem fit :)

I can understand your position on this, I can see how it can make people feel after playing and time invested whilst choosing not to spend. I don't have any R5 6*s, only 3 R4s and I'm ok with that. I use to spend, not to keep up but I was enticed and could afford it at the time. Now I can't afford to do that anymore and I'm fine with that. I enjoy playing the game in a non competitive manner and enjoy it much more not spending.

This was a predictable response, we get it, you have issues with people being able to buy what you worked for…if you get bummed out because others buy what you’ve played thru the game for, then I’d say you’re motivation for playing is off.
It’s more about how it destroys the game economy. You can do a simple google search for case studies about how short of lifespans games have when they decide to sell everything.
After today I’ve gone from 0 rank 5’s to 3 and will go from 6 rank 4’s to 11. I’ve spent no money, I’ve just saved units. It’s been so fulfilling and I almost feel like I’ve cheated the system. Love this game

Left the game for over a year, came back two months ago, during that time I became Parangon and grinded 12k units in arena. So today I managed to get three offers for just 12k, I never could do something like that in previous years, and what's more: In a day I pretty much got the progress of, at least, a whole year 💀
I mean I'm happy to take it, but I also see your point, so I feel like they are rushing to squeeze the profit left off 6* and rush to 7* offers and stuff. You know, the fact that their stats alter the power balance so much and there's still 4 more ranks to see, it's crazy.
I feel ascension is going to level the playing field for those with experience and time invested I've been a moderate spender just waiting for the economy to shift, it shifted

I grinded so much to just get to paragon last year. Now are these deals broken. I had 2 rank 5s prior to this.

4 months ago, everyone around 1 mil and above account rating, ftp or not, had maximum 1 r5, now ftp has maximum 2 r5s and spenders have 20
The other issue is that Kabam has to keep a certain level of challenge in the game to keep people interested and they end up balancing new content toward the whales, making the experience for the rest of us worse. Those who don't spend on these deals also have to spend more in revives because they don't have as developed a roster or as high a rank for the champions. I'm almost dreading what Abyss 2.0 is going to look like.
To be honest, this particular sales event with the double dipping on unit deals, the ability to buy thronebreaker deals if you max out the paragon ones, it just kinda feels like the last gasp of a dying company looking to juice as much as they can from players before they put this game on a skeleton crew and just "maintenance mode" this thing until everyone drops off.

3 Odins and a black panther was more than I wanted to spend.
Looking at the steam summer sales and games I want buy, you can get so much and it's basically once a year for your gaming.
MCOC wants you to spend more than this 3 times a year.. (spring cleaning, July 4th and Cyber) and then the Christmas event to top it all off.
It's ridiculous amounts on a game to stay where you want to be lol.
The game survived for over 8 years, perhaps half of that time not having to throw out deals like this.
Does Kabam need to do this to survive? Seems like they are more than milking it now- seeing what they can get away with.

Anyway, they took that concept and made it weekly for MCoC. Then twice a week. Then 3 times a week.
Harnessing competition. Raking in money at a much higher rate. And look how many millions it has made them!
I got off the roller coaster before I earned collected. Things cost 100x too much. Yet. So many other players stayed on.
It is miraculous to me that players fail to realize... less than 1% of players stick with the game. I found out by starting new alliances with new accounts. Within 2 weeks, I was the only active player remaining. So. Either leave, or quit. I chose to restart. Over and over.
I recommend players start over and play till you hit the paywall. Which is deeper in the game every year. Because Kabam wants to harvest the rare and elusive fresh whales.

In my Gold1 world, my normal almost F2P roster is quite okay, and I couldn’t care less about what the spenders are doing, I don’t meet them anyway.
Especially for a hardcore arena grinder like BG, these deals could be seen as a reward for the effort you put in to get the unit deals. The money people can do what they like, I don’t compare myself to those endgamers

This discussion is repeating itself, 4* became worthless, 5* not so long ago, now it’s shifting towards 6* losing their value.
The way to high progression rosters has to be shorter than some years ago, for new players being able to catch up in a certain way.
I understand his frustration, though. I grinded F2P for some unit deals and I will have my first R5 soon…which is almost irrelevant, as there are many R2 7* in the realm already. I am too late!

Tbh it is not about putting a r5 gem in Odin which is an issue. R5 gem in Odin is surely warranted at this point of time in game if you are paying money. The bigger issue is they made 4+1 odins available twice. So 2 kinds of odins that you can buy 5 times. That's 10 odins that you can buy. That's the major problem
as a cav, I had exactly 3750 units. spend 750 units just to get 15k 6* shards and the nexus cav crystals. Because im f2p imma keep the rest units for christmass event which is worth more for me but, at least 1st tier for f2p is so good
Good example of it is seatin. Dude was not in game for like years and yesterday he whaled out and got 3 times bigger account than mine which I grinded for years (while he was not active in game) in barely seconds.
It dose suck for FTP players. But this is a business it’s all about maximising profits. 1 whale or even 1 player buying a Odin is more important to kabam then the entire FTP player base. Remember it’s just a game do not spend unless you can afford it peeps. It’s gambling at its finest
The old and new units packs both equaled out to be 18k units. New one is better, tho. Bc the first 3 are still affordable if you can't get the 4th.

I started a new account in late February. I’m currently lvl 53 and paragon and I have 1 rank 5 6 star champ (herc), 2 7 star champs and once I have enough gold and iso I could have 10 rank 4 6* with minimum spending. I also only run map 5 and no AW and I’ve only done the initial clear of act 1-7 with only 100% act 4 and no other content except monthly SQ and some monthly EQ, So yeah it’s crazy to think how you have been playing MCOC for several years now and I have been only playing for about 5 months and basically have comparable roster as yours. This game has ruined it for anyone that is FTP.

As someone who already has 4 rk 2 7*. Hes kind of right. I basically saved all my resources and only had 2 rk 5 6*. And now i just jumped to 4 rk 2 7* like nothing. Im alreadt ahead of those who rk up so many 6* to rk 5. It is kind of stupid. Since i had so much saved up in resources. I just completely skipped over what everyone elses grind for 600$. Lol
I completely disagree with the argument that in 1 week of playing you can have a stronger acct, you'd be very hard pushed to get paragon in a week and youd have play full time and spend a lot of money. Also to state that everything you've achieved in the game up until now was for nothing is a very sad way to look at it

This game is dead, I can't believe people still spend. They just had a round of layoffs, they don't care at all about the product they put out each month which is absolute trash full of bugs. They profit on the bg feature by cheating due to mods and the only way you keep your streak is to use shields you purchase so you don't lose your streak when you get matched up by a mod or by someone that completely overmatches your account. I mean how do people just keep bending over and taking it. It's insane.

The 7 star pool is meh, the relics meh, paragon crystals are straight garbage, 6 star awakenings are not that rare anymore and at a higher level it's raining with 6 star crystals....
What if we get to teir 4 and dont get it? Will i still get the offers renewed again after it gone in a day or can you only run the teirs back if you buy tier 4?

Are we really shocked about the offers? Games will always be catered to pay to win players. Thats why these games they stay alive for so long. A f2p player asking them not to release these levels of offers just because they’ll make their accounts look silly compared to players who bought/will buy these offers, it’s just not gonna happen. If they stop releasing these type of offers the game will shut down within a year.
They also don’t put effort to giving free to play calendar or quest it’s just sad

What I dont get is this massive price they put on 7* shards, yet 6*s are coming in like crazy from everywhere. I was in Abeedo’s stream when the event went live and just massively disappointed to see so little of the 7* shards offered. Iv been f2p sense 2014 when the game came out and I genuinely love the game but it stinks of greed from revive nerf saying it would make content to easy but then everyone being able to double what iv done in the game in a day for the price of money which then is totally fine😕iv currently got two rank fours and can’t even hit paragon because resources are so outdated and now I can’t even progress in battle grounds being diamond 3 to get the extra rewards they added because war is down with everyone having such stacked accounts and so many rank 5s kicking my butt I can’t stress enough how it is a holiday but only for whales feeling like us other players don’t even exist not even a login calendar or some kind of special event for us to do so Appreciate you for the video and speaking for us players

How did we get here? MROC was such a big financial catastrophe that the CEO was fired. The new CEO had one directive: make money now. Unfortunately, it's only going to get worse, not better.
The deals have to get better each time otherwise people won't spend.

I've been grinding my butt off to get Paragon, but since I don't have time for AW or AQ, I'm limited to story and event quests to try for my three rank 4s. Seeing stuff like this is so discouraging. This isn't stuff like Abyss where I'll probably never clear it but presumably could; this is an entire event I literally can't participate in because I don't grind arena or spend ludicrous sums of money. And I just get to watch everyone else's numbers go up.
I can see your point that any new account can have much higher account progression. But the years of experience you have in this game, will trump any new person with a crazy roster.
kabam knew that with an upcoming in person tourney more and more people would want to be playing at the higher echelon, and would pay to get there.
