TH-cam's algorithm works great for music. From reading everyone's posts everywhere, this MV was linked to everyone with an interest in the Japanese music scene but especially the Band-Maid and Lovebites fans.
Indeed, but the success of the algorithm requires careful maintenance. Don't watch any mainstream popular stuff or non-music-related videos under your same account, or the algorithm will be pushing you for days with Taylor Swift videos. Use a different account for that or religiously clear them out of your watch history.
From what I've read, Kanade, was in the mix when Lovebites was looking for a bass player, at the age of 15. Also, big fan of Chopper Koga, no surprise there. 🤘
I broke out of my Band Maid BUBBLE long enough to watch this video a 1/2 dozen times. I think Nek! Has that something special. Really glad to see you cover this Ryan.
Thank you my friend! They are awesome and they are growing pretty fast on TH-cam. Their next song called MAZE sounds already so good! I'm pretty sure that it'll be released soon 🔥🔥🔥
Personally, I found them about two weeks ago, I was going through some Rolling Quartz and when I got to their cover of "Zitti e Buono", there was another K-rock band named "DIH" in the suggestions, so I clicked on it and it was fire. I watched one of two of their videos and on the second video "NEK" - Start Over was in the suggestions and I clicked on them and had exactly the same reaction that you had. I've said this before and I'll say it again, Asian female bands are keeping the flame alive for all sub-genres of rock. And the world is a better place for it. All of these ladies are just phenomenal and bring me back to when I first saw the great female rock group Fanny, in either 1970 or 1971, who were, to me, the progenitor the the classic female rock band. And here, 54 years later, we're in the midst of a Renaissance that harks all the way back to 1970 and Fanny.
Ryan mate! Greetings! Finally got to listen to them. Impressive considering their ages between 17 and 20! Their obvious liking of Band Maid certainly proves they are ready to follow the same path! Band Maid's influence on the Japanese music horizon is paying dividends! Just in time, I may say! More special bands to appear soon, I'm sure! Lucky we are! Best regards, Robert-Gilles

Discovered them last week. Alot of talent. Band-Maid circa 2016 if they had never found Saiki.

The drummer, Cocoro, also has connection with Harupi from Lovebites, since she worked as staff member on Haruna's 360°VIEW DRUMMING this year.
Awesome song with great energy. I think my kids will like this band as well. That was a fun reaction too!🎉🎶🎶🎶
As of today they have
6.46K subscribers. Good to see these young ladies getting support. They have talent

Today, 5/28/24, they have 6.45K subscribers and the video has 110,000 views. They posted a couple of shorts of their second song. It sounds great too.
Damn, that's FAST growth! GOOD FOR THEM!
Nice sound! Cute little short of Choose Me too!
Excellent band!. I'll keep a close eye on them...
Bought this song a bit ago.. Love it.. Wish they’d push out more.

Love it.

Neki they flip the i..>> Nek!
This could be an alternate universe, if band maid didnt do the audition for saiki. 🧐
The drummer had a great inspiration for wearing Luka Doncic’s jersey. Maybe the Mavs will win the championship thanks to her 😄
Ryan, I made a MIDI cover of this!
You should check it out.
NEK ee are great !
New Fate Gear today.
