Interesting you play Hawaiian music over Brid as it was the first place in the UK to see surfing. There is a plaque on the wall of the North Bay telling about this. It was in the 1800s I think. The king of Hawaii had sent his sons to be educated in the UK and it was in the area. One day a teacher brought the sons to Bridlington and a local carpenter was asked to create boards for them. Hence the surfing connection.
