Staithes and Runswick Bay, North Yorkshire Coast, UK

The North Yorkshire coast is characterised by rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and small fishing villages with winding alleyways and plenty of independent shops and Staithes is a perfect example of this. Located between Whitby and Redcar, and within the North York Moors National Park, Staithes was once a major fishing centre but is now a popular tourist destination.
Situated only a 10 minute drive south of Staithes is a hidden gem which was named by the Times and Sunday Times Travel as Britains best beach 2020, Runswick Bay.From the main street you can get a nice view overlooking the bay and along the Kettleness headland. Once inside the village you will find yourself in a warren of small alleyways weaving in between pretty red roofed cottages decorated with summer flowers. The paths are narrow and run directly outside of peoples houses so please be a polite and considerate visitor and respect the resident’s property and keep noise to a minimum.
Staithes and Runswick Bay are definitely worth visiting when in North Yorkshire Coast for its charming and relaxing ambiance whether for a day or longer holiday.

ga sa na place oi ang water parang oil sa pagka calm. naka try kana mag crabbing? ganda din tingnan yung mga bahay na iba-iba ang colours. char oi parang nag modeling walk sa baywalk. Ang laki ng mga bato at wow ang wild flowers.
