2023 Ride the Wave to Resiliency Community Symposium: Communicating Resiliency

On March 1, 2023, to celebrate the adoption of its Transportation Resiliency Master Plan, the SCTPO its Ride the Wave to Resiliency Community Symposium in the state of Florida, where transportation planners, resiliency advocates, engineers, technical consultants, citizens, municipal representatives, and environmental experts enjoyed hearing from local and regional experts who discussed resiliency efforts, emergency management responses, and creative solutions.

Rachel has spent the last eight years in government communications and public information. A graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in video production and a passion for strategic communications, Rachel strives to develop unique messaging to reach audiences in a constantly changing communication landscape.
She serves on the board of directors of Space Coast FPRA, and most recently she was named the local 2022 Dick Baumbach PR Pro of the Year and was also named the Florida Public Relations Association's state-wide 2022 Joe Curley Rising Leader.
