The updates will mostly include multiple decay routes while there is only 1 or a few recent burial routes however the decay routes will mostly be parallel choices that have the main characters killed off or either of them killed off in ways and have them moved on yet even the choices could lead to either decay or burial To be honest some of the updates ruined COAAL so far and ruined the characters making them seem like they are the actual antagonists while making it seem like the actual antagonists seem like the actual protagonists Most of the other characters are still a mystery including Julia we don’t know enough or much about her, is she really as innocent and sweet as she seems or made out to be or is there something else hidden about her that she have plans of her own that put both Andrew and Ashley in jeopardy and endangerment that she could be an occultist member herself with her own roles and tasks to fulfill with her own connections.

It is in part because they sympathize with Ashley, who is a playable character as opposed to Julia, who we haven't played as (yet). It is also in part because in the game we have so far, we don't have a lot of characterization for her. We just haven't gotten to know her just yet.

Julia have already broken up with Andrew/Andy in the prior chapters some of the recent update devblogs just show more scenes and paths for pt1-pt2 that are prequel playable scenes to pt1-pt2 making it pt0
Julia is still a mystery, we don't know much or enough about her and her character reputes, she could be involve in these occults herself with connecions and family ties to these occults she perhaps is related to one of the occult ring leaders set out to endanger and jeopardize both main characters aka Andrew/Andy and Ashley/Leyley however Andrew/Andy perhaps will get the better of her and get her first which seems like it in one of the recent chapters, her reputes to them in school and outside school whenever they do hangout or whenever she is alone with Andrew/Andy seem fake since she changed persona towards Andrew/Andy in a short while when she got fed up of Andrew/Andy and Ashley/Leyley she also stopped looking and dressing a certain way like Ashley/Leyley after their breakup, she mainly dressed up as Ashley/Leyley for Andrew's liking since it turned out that he is actually in love with Ashley/Leyley the whole time as his first love and final love he had along the way
We all know that Andrew/Andy is actually in love with Ashley/Leyley, we know that Ashley/Leyley is in love with Andrew/Andy it is being revealed slowly however plenty of hints including the route paths make it more obvious.
Just... yikes. The more I see what they're like as a couple, the more I'm glad Julia dumped Andrew's worthless butt.
If there was a universe where Ashley didn't exist, part of me thinks Andrew would be happier. We already know the parents favored Andrew over Ashley. There may be a little bit of neglect because the parents are dumb, and Andrew probably wouldn't be the happiest kid, but he would be a lot better of without Ashley.
Also, why do people hate Julia? What did she do? Andrew was manipulating her, and Ashley was harassing her. Poor girl deserves better.
I guess that Andrew would have an easier life without Ashley, but I doubt that he would be happier without her considering that he was sold by his own parents for some cash despite being favored over his sister. Julia is a sweet cinnamon roll, she don't deserve the hate she gets, the ones who dislike her are most likely people who don't like naive character or hardcore Ashley simps.

okey no hate to julia or nothin but there is like almost no way that anderew would just leave ashley (at this point i dont even know where since theres no way ashley wouldnt follow him somehow) and go back to julia bc i dont think julia would even take him back, plus ashley would totally then snitch on andrew about all the things he has done or even go as far as offing eather julia or andrew(very unlikely that she would actally kill her brother) so i dont think julia will be involved in the actally storyline for that long or that andrew actually would rather leave hes sister to go to julia again (plus the game is litterally called "the coffin of andy AND *leyley*" not like "the coffin of andy and julia" or "the coffin of just andy"!!). just a theory.

Because they aren't around her and Julia and Andrew broke up at the start of the game, and according to Andrew's nightmare he won't see her again. Plus they're legally dead i don't think they would meet people from their past because yes.
I mean if you seen the devlogs that are set in present time, they are not even near her. They are Just in Woods, an gas station and the Dreams realm. I think they are farer away from her than we can Imagine...

Long talk short, i think She's Indeed gonna be playable,but only in the past. Because It's logically impossible that She's gonna appear in the woods out of nowhere or that Will take Andrew back(as seen in burial, that i think that at this point of the devlogs it's more of a metaphor for Ashley to be Friends or lovers with his Brother).
