I have 2 male bettas in one big tank together with 4 guppies, 4 platy, 2 hillstream loaches and 2 common pleco. They all have their spots and hiding places and never fight. They have been together for a long time now already.
My betta is quite happy in his 19g tank, i got him yesterday and he made a bubble nest today, soon he will have some snail friends and corys to keep him company.

Read this if you are planning on buying betta fishies. Dont put them in a tank smaller than 5 gallons. Dont change their tank 100 percent every week. Clean about 25 percent every week. Please please please research a lot before you buy these beautiful fish. I thought I researched a lot about those fish and still messed up so please research how to take care of bettas.
Well i live in the philippines and i am a succesful betta breeder and here in asia where "the best bettas come from" we put them in a one gallon aquarium each so....🙄 yeah thats how we do it in asia
Cat D Bettas are perfectly happy in a small amount of water, like in a large jar. They don’t swim around much so they don’t need much space. I have one in a small jar with a plant growing in the top of the jar! My Betta is very happy!
Good judgement in crowning bettas as the most beautiful. A lot of people don't credit it because it's readily available. But if you give the choices to someone who is fresh and doesn't have knowledge on fishes, he's going to pick bettas as number one.
I had a betta butterfly male named mint. I had a sort of connection with him which was weird but i miss that bond. He sadly passed December 28th , 2019.

Usually the betta fish in little jars at the store are babies or ready to be sold in about 1-2 days.

You can keep goldfish or freshwater angelfish but goldfish leads high ammonia so keep your water always clean.
