This is day one of what began as a 3 day trip to Zhangjiajie. Tianmen mountain is located in the downtown area of the city so I stayed at Yunmei Bieyuan Hotel for quick access to Tianmen, it's only 5-10 minutes away from the mountain depending on which entrance you're going to.
I’m impressed by your Mandarin skills! Thanks for showing the journey of how to get to the top. It sounds like this could take an entire day.

Wow 🤩I'm blown away. That place is scarily beautiful, OMG I wish I was there with you. The cable care ride must have been fun. How was the walk down the 999 steps, and how long did it take? I loved this video, thanks for sharing.
I kept stopping to take photos and talk on the way down. 😂 It didn’t take long though, and didn’t feel as steep as it looked. The cable car rides are so peaceful!
If I have 3 full days should I go? Besties!!! Hahahahaha!!!! I am sure before all the development this WAS amazing,.but there are many chinese and they had to build all this so many many people can visit..now it looks a bit commerciallized..just a tad!
I think they did a great job of balancing nature with modern conveniences. It didn't feel commercialized to me, but I'm from the most commercialized place on earth lol. 3 full days is perfect!
Girl you're brave brave 😩😂 i went there in 2017 and my legs immediately turned into jello when i saw the steep steps .. lucky the escalator is there to save me 😂😂😩
Hahaha! The trick is to go the way I went! Walk downnnn the steps, not up! That escalator was clutch though!
I would've went all the to China for this and saw them cable cars and would've been like nope! I'm out lol
