Hey, I'm looking for the pre motor filter lid seal for a DC04 as mine leaks quite badly (like you can hear and feel the air) but I can't find any on eBay, I don't suppose you know where I could get one? Thanks!
Thanks! It shows that even free smashed up vacuums are good for spares! One day last year, on Amy's sisters road a bin lorry got to a dyson before she did, but when it crushed it in loads of it shattered outside, picked up lots of little clips and seals! Theres always useful parts in anything!
+Beko1987 - The home of Sam Watson, the collector! Acctully yes there is! My dad always say "throw out all the old Henry casing in the shed " but I keep them just in case I need them for example I got a smashed up nrv200 in the other day and I used the old top casing of a 2015 Henry to tidy it up!
+Richard Mander 10cm. The longest screw is the rear clutch cover one in a dc04, 07,14 and 33! All the rest are easier, although the dc40 cyclone inner screws are a bit deep too
Ah by the time ive cleaned them up, listed them and posted them it's just not worth it. DC04 parts go for almost nothing on ebay as it is! i do put more rarer parts on though when I get them
Beko1987 - The home of Sam Watson, the collector! Brilliant video. Similar to my dc04 absolute. except I've gone and bought a purple chassis from a purple and pink dc04 so now there is only the inspection pipes grey (u bend and elboe)
Beko1987 - The home of Sam Watson, the collector! I found a solution to my suction on hose issue, Change-over valve, I changed over the changing bit and the sliders around a bit and now this one is sticking a little, After reading abit they are all slightly diffrent so they have to be the same otherwise the problem I got will happen, Annoyingly I threw the old parts out so I guess Ill just leave it as is, Nothing wrong, just lose 15% suction unless I press down
Enjoyed that beko
The dismantling and destruction
Love it
watching this makes me sad cus i own a dc04 myself (a de stijl) and this is a dc04 and its so sad

What size is the long screwdriver you use on most Dysons?
