Been watching this project since the beginning but didn't feel like joining in since it seemed a bit daunting, but seeing this new system where you just build a single building at a time makes it seem a lot simpler I'll join and try my hand at making some buildings for the project :D
Imagine using this world as a server and use that as an online school. You live in your own home, using a mod that you could hear someone near you. Go school like the usual days but it's in Minecraft.

Can you please do Venice? I think it’s a good idea since it isn’t that big but it’s very nice and full of great buildings and it’s probably the most original and beautiful city in the world since it ain’t anything like that in the whole world

The fact that they make the earth 1:1 means that they are eventually gonna make russia. Pippen, if you see this; please make Balakovo first when you get to russia. its my home town and to be fair there isnt any architectural masterpieces so it wont be hard to make it lmao.
If your definition of a “major city” is, let’s say, a population of over 100,000, then there are at the very least over 300 major cities in the United States. We don’t have $300,000 and with the views we’re getting, we never will 😭

I'd be just as motivated for a role in the discord as for 1,000 dollars to be honest but maybe that's just my privilege talking °~°
Let's be real, they aren't ever going to finish the whole earth. It's just not feasible. It'll still be insanely impressive if they manage to build most of the world's major cities on a 1:1 scale though.
