I was just wondering the other day if you were going to do follow-up live streams after your first one XD Congrats on the milestone. Saw the premier reminder and knew I was going to miss it. Was able to listen to half of the recap driving home last night and the other half before I went to bed =) The pitfalls of blind sampling whiskies you know and love by heart. I tried it with Glenallachie 15 against Glendronach 15 and could tell the Glenallachie from first sip. Sort of defeats the point but it's still worthwhile =D Keep on keeping on my son!
Thanks for catching this one on the replay Hex! I always forget how much fun the Live's are until I get back at it. I'll have to try and keep them more regular. And yeah, that is definitely the shortfall with semiblind tasting or including something you love or are really familiar with. You'll call it out and be able to spot it halfway through the tasting.
