Now that Brian is in Hospice, the moment when he said, "what happens when I'm gone and you have to take care of RJ" really broke me. Lori is amazing, and I know she'll guide everyone through all that is to come, but I hate that this day has come.
Goes to show no matter how experienced you are, that these are dangerous animals at this size, and should not be handled alone by anyone. Good job keeping your cool Brian. It really shows how much you are a master of your craft. Being able to read your animals like that.
When I had my ball python, I would put her around my neck when I cleaned my room, and she would just sit there. One day. I had just had an argument, so I was really emotional and crying while I cleaned. I guess she sensed it and was scared because she started tightening (they have bad balance. I think she was scared of falling) thankfully I knew how to get her off because no one else was around to help. I still like to think she was trying to give me a hug to make me feel better. 😂

Omg i love RJ!!!! I think alligators are so adorable!!! I watch another TH-cam channel called Snake Discovery and they actually have an alligator named Rex. Rex had spent 27 years of his life in a box that was way too small. The gators growth was stunted and so is only about 4 feet long or so. Emily and her husband Ed from Snake Discovery rescued Rex and has had him for about 4 or 5 years i think they said. Just recently though after bringing Rex to the vet they found out that he is actually a she........lol Rex is such a cute little gator. And because she was kept in such a small box for most of her life her nose is curved upwards and she has issues with her teeth. But overall she is doing very well with Emily and Ed 😀
I know this comment is old but I just learned about Rex recently and watched the video they did when they took her to the pet store to pick out a toy and I literally died at how cute she is lol. I even showed my bf cuz I fell in love with Rex immediately. I love Snake Discovery.

Noooo they are fine it’s only temporary until they are sold or moved into an enclosure most of the snakes have eggs anyway which is a good place for them when they have babies as a snake owner they are fine

You should never push someone to handle dangerous reptiles that they’re not comfortable with. The fact that she is afraid makes the situation dangerous because the animals can sense that fear.

You should never push someone to handle dangerous reptiles that they’re not comfortable with. The fact that she is afraid makes the situation dangerous because the animals can sense that fear.
