I would like to thank all those who have commented. Since the show I did what I said I would and created a new industry within my sector of which has been my biggest challenge yet, however I did it against all odds and with pretty much no backing. What ever you want in life, do it. For those who try to put you down or belittle you, in my experience this means you are going in the right direction - also, look at most of those who criticise you and your ideas as my bet is they are not doing anything of value themselves and they are probably jealous. Free advice can be very expensive.
I just stumbled into this video, I remember watching this episode and that was it for me, I've never watched that show since, that's how disgusted I was by Alan sugar, so good to hear you are doing great brother.
Scott did the right thing and I commend him for that! Sugar was basically hinting: “You have two options, either you bounce or you will get/be bounced”. Scott decided to bounce. 🏓
Props to Scott for that bold decision. I wouldn't want someone telling me I'm "very lucky to still be here" if you don't want me, I don't want you either regardless of how rich you are
"he was way above her league" -- say what? the low-IQ douchebag with zero sales skills... desperately jumping through hoops like a zoo animal for a 250k investment on a reality tv show... was out of the millionaire's league? HAHAHAHAHAHA "because deep down she wanted to get in his pants" -- evidence please? or you just making shit up like a plonker? where the hell did you get that from?
He knew what the program was all about and signed on to win it, quitting half way through as the pressure mounted on is not a sign of bravery. Weak personality I would say.
What made this even more sweet and dignified is that he got to do this whilst also being on the winning team. Imagine if he had done it whilst being on the losing team? Just look at the way he doesn't even acknowledge the other winners of his team as he leaves the boardroom and collects his suitcase. He knows himself they are leeches and backstabbers who would have turned on him had the team lost. At least 75% of this show is based on the personalities of the candidates. I've seen Alan look past the most dreadful candidates to keep them just because they make "for good TV viewing."
The reality production took over the business element on the Apprentice a long time ago. The first few series were great for me as an aspiring professional at the time because it showed the planning, product development etc in a lot of detail, as well as the tensions and conflict management in a team. Now it’s almost pure reality and semi scripted drama focused on arguments and bickering or bigging up the clowns for comedy value.
@@PeacockRhino spot on! I used to watch it to learn about business but now its all reality crap. Such a shame. This show could have been on another level if they picked actual intelligent professionals
Yeah bad candidates like Michael Sophocles and Stuart Baggs kept getting passes because ratings. Not saying they're bad people because I don't know them but both should've been fired a lot sooner because they were out of their depth toward the latter stages of the competition.
So true . It's all about viewing figures . I can tell by the look in his eyes and body language he is going to quit , but is so dignified in the way he does it . I would do business with this gentleman any day . Good for you Scott .
For anyone that doesn't know he's now the CEO of Payroll Supermarket that had a several million pound turnover last year. Shows that standing up for your integrity and originality is so much more important than tucking your tail between your legs and saying nothing.
As the show went on, week by week it was clear Scott's motivation and energy was being drained. That's what happens when you're surrounded by certain types of people
yes, being surrounded by certain types of people -- people better skilled than you and are more realistically likely to win -- can be demotivating. lel
Zoo Coo fuck off. Scott was a decent candidate. Well rounded; he had 1-2 average performances but he was better than Charlene. I think he had enough of the brownnosing culture and personal attacks. You can get 250k off a bank but life to short to fucking listening to entitled wankers dangle carrots in your face just so they can berate you. Be a shepherd not a sheep.
Zoo Coo probably you got no experience to comment on such experience\situation. So don’t talk too much shit lol he wasn’t the weakest and he shown integrity.
He knew he wasn't going to make it to the final so why let the likes of Karen Brady humiliate him. It's that awkward moment for those on the other side of the table when they realise they've lost their power over someone to humiliate them. He did the right thing.
Exactly, she literally just said "You two were good, but you not so much" why did she need to say that? We established that he did not do well....did you have to comment?
This show is the embodiment of toxic corporate environments with candidates jostling to take all credit for successes and blame each other for failures. Nice to see 1 candidate with integrity and self-respect

Good for him, tbh! AS showed a bit of his true colours. A bad and bitter loser. One man said about walking past him by chance at London Bridge, and AS wrinkled his nose and looked down at him for no good reason. He hadn't been staring, and had only noticed him because of his height. Can't expect better of a typical East End wideboy. Reminds me of the hounds who used to sell the dodgy second hand items in Portebello Market back in the 60's and 70's.
How he can say "you're doing my job for me" and "you've made things easier for me" without saying "good luck" after just humiliating the lad on national TV is an absolute joke. He truly exposed them for what they really are and it goes to show that money doesn't buy everything. Absolute respect to Scott! 👏
actually the irony of his idiotic statement was that it was in a very real way true. Scotts actions are so interesting, that I want to watch that entire season just to see what he was about. So he did do "lord sugars" work for him, he made the show interesting!

Massive respect to Scott for this. Didnt let Sugar think he was doing him a favour by letting him stay and stood up for what he believed in and embarrased Sugar at the same time. Top, top man Scott.
Scott was looking more downhearted and tired as each week went by. I think he was out of his depth wrt the nature of the 'competition'. Too much pressure and too much backstabbing. It must be a nightmare to be at the mercy of BBC editing
Not all heroes wear capes. This guy is an absolute Legend in my eyes! Never take sh*t from anyone, regardless of how high and mighty they think they are.
What a legend. Absolutely love him for doing what he did. It was a brave and a bold move that takes alot of courage, but also a right one. It doesn't show the part were Karen says he knew he was way out of his depth against all the others. Another thing also he did not get FIRED!
Matthew Dawood Khaghani Yeah alright mate. That's the attitude of a sheep, I wouldn't let anyone talk to me like that regardless of what they had to offer me. You can get investment off institutions and banks without the personal condemnation and antagonists.
Matthew Dawood Khaghani what's your point? Someone isn't allowed to turn down a job? I'm sure he was doing well for himself before apprentice, and in my eyes and a lot of others his gained credit.
Scott was ripped in to and essentially told he had no chance of winning the process so he did the best thing possible by leaving. Well done for having the courage to do that.
People like Scott get thrown under the bus by the same people that call you "mate" and "darling" when things go right. Fair play to him and I hope he continues his successes.
Scott was polite, to the point, professional and honest. Knowing when to cut your losses is paramount to survival in a cut throat world. Sugar learnt that the hard way with the football club. Those jabs at Scott were frankly quite pathetic. People look up to this man and that his his attitude? Where ever you are Scott i hope you are happy, healthy and successful in all your quests.
I remember this vividly. That took guts! Done with dignity. Obviously a man of integrity to expel himself with class like that rather than wait to be further ridiculed for your entertainment. Best of luck to him!
I remember thinking all the way through this series how badly Scott was treated, it was clear from the start that he was a strong contender and I even had him down as the winner but he was treated so poorly and was basically bullied out of the competition. Shame on Karen and the others for belittling, humiliating and bullying him. What we must remember is that this is edited to fuck, so who knows what goes on behind the scenes but my guess is that they didn't like him because he told it how it was, maybe they didn't like the fact that he stood up to them when no one else would and didn't put up with their snide comments. Good for him, I absolutely would have done the same and I would have exited the same and wouldn't have even made eye contact with the other contestants. It really did make me see Alan Sugar and the gang in a different light.
A teacher at my school said they had a friend who was friends with someone who quit the apprentice because it was taking too much of a toll on their mental health. This person may have been Scott. I congratulate and highly respect Scott for not conforming and staying in it for the chance of money, he made the right decision, and didnt just pander to those 3 actually not very nice human beings. The Apprentice I would actually say is shit, and it's same shit different year. Utmost respect for Scott
it was that comment from sugar that he was a lucky man to be still there that pissed him off and embarrassed him, that's why he just said fuck it, I'm quitting. You can clearly see at the very end when he grabs his stuff that he's pissed off.
I don't think so, I noticed subliminal behaviour prior to that. I was wondering if they forced him to quit, so they did not have to unfairly kick him off. The presenter had some tightly closed palms when he started talking directly to that man who quit. They guy was angry, but I feel angry because of some behind the seen shit. He looked pissed from get go.. and looked the at panel, like they were bunch of show biz manipulative scum.
When you stand for nothing, you fall for anything. Scott stood for his moral compass, quit when he truly believed in himself to be doing the right thing. Respect.
@sheffield vloggers Legit, he was an honest, humble and hard worker. Others took advantage of Scott while he had to do the tough tasks. Plus, Karen just didn't want him to succeed. #Racism
@@KAHHHH8548 It was both of them, and people are focusing on Karen because unlike Lord Sugar, she is not anywhere near as much of a successful businessperson, which means she doesn't have half the right to be such a bitch.
I like Karen out of the apprentice but In the boardroom she likes to live up to some sort of 'savage' image of herself. You only see Claude pointing facts out about what really went on in the task but Karen loves to add extra personal and pathetic sassy comments at the candidates while squinting.
He did the right thing, he was the most humble and caring and hard working candidate in this series. Unfortunately everyone was taking advantage of him and taking over. Now then Karen on the other hand is a total jealous cow who just didn't want scott to do well because she knew how honest he was. He did the right thing over all if they going to bully him like this take the piss out of his honesty and say he's lucky he's still in it, then i would have done the same thing. Well done scott and btw he now has hos own comparison company and he's doing very well, so well he's as good as a millionaire now you can see his interviews on google and TH-cam.
I worked in a Japanese Restaurant in London (Ginza Onodera) and worked as a potwash to get some extra cash while studying. The way I was spoken to in that kitchen almost had me in tears when I used to get home at night. I had a man screaming at my face almost every shift, making my already shit job even more unbearable. No one should ever have to put up with that in life. Kudos to Scott.
What did the guys height have to do with anything? Are you only allowed to be shouted at by people more physically imposing than you? Not excusing the guys behaviour (and I similarly hope he got what was coming to him) but as a midget myself I hate that some people seem to think that they’re entitled to more respect if they’re taller
@@donaldducktrump5508 Their were numerous candidates that were poor performers In a winning team, in yet Brady never said a word till that moment. One thing for sure her predecessor Margaret would never had said that. " One win as a team".
Even when Scott takes a stand and resigns from the process, good old Lord Sugar can't resist making smart alec quips about making his job easier(!). Lord Sugar DIDN'T like the fact that he was UPSTAGED, & that was the ONLY way he felt he could respond, by belittling this candidate...........
This is what you call someone who has dignity and self respect. No matter how big the person is in front of you doesn't give them the right to put you down for no reason. Mad respect to Scott like a true boss he indirectly told Sir Alan deuces and the backstabbing candidates who would have tried to pick on him had he stayed on.
You need balls to make such a decision and you need to stand up when we feel we are not being valued. This video is a great example and prives that anyone who values themselves need to stand up.
AMN am sure Alan Sugar was hurt by what Scott did he just did a good job of not showing it. But it was clear that Alan Sugar was hurt. But him being a pride man he had to stick his chest out and act like he was alright he didn’t care
Amazing isn't it? Brady had her multimillionaire father hand everything to her on a plate while Littner has had the same spoiled brat upbringing. Wealthy parents, private education, a fortune handed down to them...yet here they are slating ordinary people from not so privileged backgrounds, just trying to make something of themselves. The App used to be very good but the last 4 series have been utter garbage. Bring back Nick and Marge
+Misanthrope Cutler that isn't the case though. Shit is shit, simple as that. Magim, the candidate who was the refugee, got universal praise for his determination and for his hard work despite his background when he was fired
Strongly agree. I stopped watching it actually. Gave up on last year after about 5 episodes. Karen is a stuck up bitch and I just hate Claude. It's just them, it's the candidates as well. They get more and more obnoxious and arrogant each year. All they do is blow their own trumpet and it's just not endearing at all.
Its not about bringing back Nick and Margaret. It is the prize as well. The personality doesn't matter anymore as he wants a business partner not an employee. These days the only people they want to invite are CBB and Towie wannabes
He left with is self respect fully intact. Alan Sugar was putting him down. To many people kiss his backside. He didn't his own waste time. Alan Sugar made his mind about him.
Lot of respect for this. When you reach that point and just think you know what I'm getting nothing out of this is the perfect time to exit. Be it a job, a relationship, a project. It's the best feeling in the world and fair play to that man.
Yes, he didn’t do the best job in this task but why pick a bone with him & belittle him about it? Also, why did it take 10 bloody years to notice someone on a winning team performing badly. Can’t stand Karen, she likes to think she’s the big I-am & she’s a real snidey cow. There have been lots of candidates in winning teams, in previous series, who did even worse jobs or even worse, were bone idle. At least Scott put in 100%, went for it & gave it his all. Fair play to Scott, that’s no way to speak to someone. Alan didn’t even wish him good luck. I get a sense that he was bitter about Scott leaving because he said “you’re doing my job me & you’ve made life easier for me.”
I recall one "winning" team only won a task just by a pound l think. Sugar was so disgusted that he denied them the treat. None of Sugars aids made a comment on any of the individuals compared to what Karen said about Scott.
I still come back to this iconic clip every now and then to remind myself that I should never take crap from anyone regardless of who they are, and never to be succumbed by always standing up for myself in a meaningful manner. So much respect for this decision.
Shift in the power dynamic. Robbing the one with the authority to fire him by walking out under his own volition. You can see how it affects Alan Sugar by his defensive response.

This is something my father always taught me. Protect your integrity, it'll serve you in the long run
Ohh the look of disgust o Alan's face when he quits
Power outage!
FingerPickinGood _ he is a prick
Scott was looking more downhearted and tired as each week went by. I think he was out of his depth wrt the nature of the 'competition'. Too much pressure and too much backstabbing. It must be a nightmare to be at the mercy of BBC editing

Matthew Dawood Khaghani your alright mate. No worries
One of only 2 people who were non winners not to get fired they left without the humiliation

What do you mean?
Scott was ripped in to and essentially told he had no chance of winning the process so he did the best thing possible by leaving. Well done for having the courage to do that.
“Oh my god” *hands covering mouth* such an overreaction lol
It takes a lot of guts to do that. Full respect to him.
That's what you call a man !! Money is not everything !
Now he is the CEO of a company worth millions though
People like Scott get thrown under the bus by the same people that call you "mate" and "darling" when things go right. Fair play to him and I hope he continues his successes.
Alan: I’m an honourable man
Also Alan: *fails to wish good luck to a candidate who politely withdrew from the application process*

Telling someone to stick their job and walking out is extremely liberating, I've done it loads of times and would recommend trying it to anyone.

I'll put that one on my CV. "Always feel liberated when I tell my boss to shove his job up his arse". Seriously though can I borrow 20p?
Scott was polite, to the point, professional and honest. Knowing when to cut your losses is paramount to survival in a cut throat world. Sugar learnt that the hard way with the football club.
Those jabs at Scott were frankly quite pathetic. People look up to this man and that his his attitude?
Where ever you are Scott i hope you are happy, healthy and successful in all your quests.
Scott is now a millionaire lol
His nose was put out of joint when Scott realised there was more to life outside of his TV show.
Only difference is I’d walk out a lot slower so they can sit in that awkwardness
Other contestants' reactions:
On the day: "What's he doing?"
Now: "I don't blame him."
He didn't know where to look or what to say when Scott said he wanted to leave. That was priceless!
Scott I pray God blesses you. The apprentice is about backstabbing and forgoing all the morals you have ever learnt to get to the next stage.

it was that comment from sugar that he was a lucky man to be still there that pissed him off and embarrassed him, that's why he just said fuck it, I'm quitting. You can clearly see at the very end when he grabs his stuff that he's pissed off.
Jonathan Po Exactly Lord Sugar was such an ass about it...
***** Yep, must've been a build-up off bullshit, then the commentf from Sugarf set him off...
When you stand for nothing, you fall for anything. Scott stood for his moral compass, quit when he truly believed in himself to be doing the right thing. Respect.
“I’m off” - most British response ever
I would've done exactly the same. Good move Scott, go and start your own thing. I think it was Karen that set him off to be honest.
YOUR own thing !!!!
@sheffield vloggers Legit, he was an honest, humble and hard worker. Others took advantage of Scott while he had to do the tough tasks. Plus, Karen just didn't want him to succeed. #Racism
I dont know why you shitheads are all attacking karen when it was actually alan who was 'belittling' him. So shut the fuck up
@@KAHHHH8548 It was both of them, and people are focusing on Karen because unlike Lord Sugar, she is not anywhere near as much of a successful businessperson, which means she doesn't have half the right to be such a bitch.
SAMTHE MANWHOCAN *your
I like Karen out of the apprentice but In the boardroom she likes to live up to some sort of 'savage' image of herself. You only see Claude pointing facts out about what really went on in the task but Karen loves to add extra personal and pathetic sassy comments at the candidates while squinting.
@ insecure because of her business ventures in football i think
She had it in for Scott from Day 1, no idea why, but she did. Belittled him every chance she got. She is a bully and bitch.
Proper geezer!
You can only admire, this man that is true to himself, integrity in it's truest form.
Respect for him. A bit of honesty as apposed to arrogance
People don’t take advantage unless you let them
I worked in a Japanese Restaurant in London (Ginza Onodera) and worked as a potwash to get some extra cash while studying. The way I was spoken to in that kitchen almost had me in tears when I used to get home at night. I had a man screaming at my face almost every shift, making my already shit job even more unbearable. No one should ever have to put up with that in life. Kudos to Scott.
I hope that bastard is in the dumps and you are doing well in life
What did the guys height have to do with anything? Are you only allowed to be shouted at by people more physically imposing than you? Even when Scott takes a stand and resigns from the process, good old Lord Sugar can't resist making smart alec quips about making his job easier(!). Lord Sugar DIDN'T like the fact that he was UPSTAGED, & that was the ONLY way he felt he could respond, by belittling this candidate...........
Well he is protecting his ego.

I definitely wouldn't
Scott knew his worth and wasn’t gonna stand someone telling him ‘he’s lucky’ that was his que to roll out👏🏾👏🏾
This is what you call someone who has dignity and self respect. No matter how big the person is in front of you doesn't give them the right to put you down for no reason. Mad respect to Scott like a true boss he indirectly told Sir Alan deuces and the backstabbing candidates who would have tried to pick on him had he stayed on.
"Scott what you doing?" To which Scott replied "I'm off". Loved how he silenced the backstabbers
At least he can say he didn’t get fired
Out of depth in an estate agent task. He wasn't pitching an estate agent business so who cares if he was out of his depth. Good call, respect to him.
Loved this - don’t let anyone treat you like crap - doesn’t matter how big their bank balance is
You need balls to make such a decision and you need to stand up when we feel we are not being valued. This video is a great example and prives that anyone who values themselves need to stand up.
AMN exactly KNOW YOUR WORTH. This applies to anything in life.
AMN am sure Alan Sugar was hurt by what Scott did he just did a good job of not showing it. But it was clear that Alan Sugar was hurt. But him being a pride man he had to stick his chest out and act like he was alright he didn’t care
Scott left with his dignity intact, I think!

Reminds me of Ned Stark resigning as Hand of the King rather than sanctioning the assassination of a teenage girl.
aye, death before dishonor.
Or Barristian Selmy when he quits the Kingsguard.
STFU.
Bad workers are bad workers and good workers are good workers --- irrespective of how rich or poor they are.
Misanthrope Cutler
and her uncle :D
You walked out of there with your self respect and in a classy manner well done Scott
The way he just walks out and grabs his bag is hilarious for some reason
Loved this, took the control away from Lord Sugar and thought I don't need to put down, was a good candidate but had a bad day at the office!
He left with is self respect fully intact. Alan Sugar was putting him down. To many people kiss his backside. He didn't his own waste time. Alan Sugar made his mind about him.
Tbf the apprentice prize isn't that great, dude wanted to go with dignity and assess his options. Good on him 👍
Lot of respect for this. When you reach that point and just think you know what I'm getting nothing out of this is the perfect time to exit. Be it a job, a relationship, a project. It's the best feeling in the world and fair play to that man.
I like the way the other three left very very swiftly
They just went 'oh fuck this is not good Bret open the fucking door we have to leave now' and practically ran out
When your knocking on the door of being a multi millionaire but then you remember it's 2 for 1 cocktails night at the pub

Walking out with belief in yourself was quite inspirational. Well done Scott.
Walked out just like a real man rather than taking shit from people. He has no regrets.
This guy is a winner for me .
He has the honer and dignity ...
Well done
