Hi! I was thinking about visiting Singapore in a few weeks, but I’m a little nervous about the weather, as the weather app says it’s essentially raining everyday there. How accurate is that/how much does it actually rain? Will I be able to have a nice time outside? Great video by the way!
It's generally "accurate". That said, it's entirely possible it could rain in the city centre but the North and west are clear and sunny. Even if it does rain it tends to be quick showers. It rarely rains for hours and hours
weather in Singapore has been pretty random lately with rain/shine and a slight rain. i would suggest that you have a umbrella with you as it could just suddenly start raining even when it looks like it would not.

Yes. I am cycling with a bicycle =)
When did Singapore get so filthy (Cenotaph area) it's not the Singapore I remember.
It becomes like that on Sundays when the foreign workers have their day off. It gets cleaned up by Monday

A nice video again from a great town. It´s just very sad to see, how many people are running around even on the streets, in the parks with a mask. This is the only bad thing about Singapore and in my opinion that masked people are depreciating the pictures of the video. (Its obviously not the fault of the creator of the video, it is just how it is.) I fear, that most of that people, that are wearing a mask on the streets, will wear a mask in their entire life. They will never again show their faces freely, they will never again feel and be free. A sad story with a sad ending.
Its going to take a long, long time to undo the mask wearing habit. I too just continue to wear my mask outdoors whenever there is a crowd. I haven't gotten covid yet so all the more reason for me to continue wearing it. The crazy thing is, before the pandemic, I always fell sick from flu or cold. I dare say, 2 years and a half years since mask wearing became mandatory, I haven't gotten sick since then. Big pleasant surprise.
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Yes, people are different. Some can draw some advantage from the mask, some do not need it. I am not vaccinated, I wear a mask very rarely (only if really forced to) and I am totally healthy and feel strong since 2,5 years.

Are you riding on an E-Scooter?
People just don't give a damn about others. Standing in the way, walking in the way. Granted, you shouldn't ride that vehicle, where you must walk, but still...
Using a trifold bicycle. It's small and easy to handle so I can go slow and still manage to steer. Most of the time if people don't move aside is because they can't hear my bell (they got headphones on etc).
In any case, cycling on footpaths and pedestrian walkways are allowed. Just limit speeds to 10km/hr and don't speed. We don't have bicycle paths on the road in the city centre and I will try to keep off roads as its dangerous (for me) 😅

Ah okay, but that's the problem right there...you are allowed to ride on the pedastrian walkways, but they can't even hear your bell, so they can't make way...I'd walk instead or use another bell or even shout at them
@@jupamoers 🤣 Good to be chill and take things easy. Pedestrians have the main right to be on the pavement. I can always push my bicycle if need be. No need to fight over a pavement 😁
