      According to Vedas in Yuga cycle the ages see a gradual decline of dharma, wisdom, knowledge, intellectual capability, life span, emotional and, physical strength.
      Satya Yuga - Virtue reigns supreme. Human stature was 21 cubits (33 ft 6 inches). Average human lifespan was 100,000 years.
      Treta Yuga - There was 3 quarter virtue and 1 quarter sin. Normal human stature was 14 cubits (22 ft 4 inches). Average human lifespan was 10,000 years.
      Dwapara Yuga - There was 1 half virtue and 1 half sin. Normal human stature was 7 cubits (11 ft 2 inches). Average human lifespan was 1,000 years.
      Kali Yuga - There is 1 quarter virtue and 3 quarter sin. Normal human stature is 3.5 cubits (5 ft 3 inches). Average human lifespan will be 100 years.
      In the present days we may be said to live in a Kali Yuga, which is said to have started in 3102 BCE with the end of the Mahabarata(Dwapra). This date is also considered by many Hindus to be the day that Lord Krishna left Earth and went to abode

    The amount of amazing carvings, arguably more intricate than anywhere else in the world, is amazing. And then to find out most of these temples are actually thousands of pieces and not carved out of one piece while not seeing any seams or ways to unlock them is unrivaled!!

    The serpent coiled around the phallus represents quite literally how the 'soul' is attached to the spinal column, coiled tightly around it like a snake, secured at seven key locations along its length.

      @amartyabanerjee4918 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      That's not phallus in sanskrit Lingam has many meanings not only phallus or gender, Lingam also means Signifier of shiva
      Example the name very common in south India Rama Lingam so dose it means rama's phallus, no but it Signify Rama.

    • @Mistral434
      @Mistral434 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@amartyabanerjee4918 Yeah, I realized after I posted the comment that "phallus" was not the appropriate term here. "Shaft", maybe. The caduceus symbol, etc.
      It makes little sense for the soul to be wound tightly around the phallus, but the notion is a bit funny =)

    On seeing the "turtle"(?) carving on the wall, and when you called it a nob, I thought, could it be an evolution of the nobs we see on the megaliths? Could these temples be what they evolved into from the more square temples and such, like Machu Picchu or Osireion temple? It is an interesting idea.

    In the past, people were frightened by such images, and religious leaders exploited those fears. However, a human foot, even one belonging to a very tall person, could not have created this imprint. While humans reaching 11 to 12 feet might be possible, such a footprint wouldn't be possible in this type of stone. (This refers to the footprint in the video, which is roughly 3 feet long.)

Secondly scripts carved there are either in Telugu language and in Kannada language. At least whatever I saw in the video they are not in Sanskrit language. What I wanted to see you did not focus much was the paintings on the ceilings.It could have given a good idea of how the people of bygone days looked like and the type of dress they were wearing,their hair style,the colours of their clothings etc. Thanks for your lovely video of Lepakshi temple.

    The block wall is obviously cast. The footprint and circles on the floor is a clear sign that the floor was poured and set. They knew how to create a good geopolyma mix

    If you like this temple you realy need to visit the Hampi temple town. There are so many sites in one area that it will keep you busy for a week . I was there because I had 5 weeks of work 30 KM away..... realy nice And it was the capital of the empire at that time😁

    One legged giants eh, or if not, where are the other footprints ? Nevertheless, India is a fascinating country which I knew little of until I started watching Praveen Mohan's videos.
    He must keep up his good work.

      The fact that these GIANT footprints are never natural, & carved, proves that Giant stories, are fake.
