Ford 5000 Tractor New import instrument cluster review

- Since the original instrument cluster and tachometer were beyond repair, I decided to try one of the cheap after market units. Most of these are being made in India. They can be had for under $100 with free shipping. I opted to pay a little more from a British seller so I could get the same color bezel, and similar warning light layout as my English made Ford 5000 was born with.

I have a 69 3000 US built Ford Tractor that I replaced the dash cluster. Looks exactly like the one you have. Had to verify the RPM rotation, too. Just found an old picture of the dash, and it had a grey trim.

I'm not sure about a replacement steering boot but I know a white or oliver steering boot may be close enough to make it work with a little time I believe there all the same 2-85 2-105 2-135 1750 1755 1850 1855 1950 1955 and so on

Agriline is who I ordered from. However, given the general look of it, and the poor quality finish of the white bezel, I believe these are probably the same as the ones in Ebay shipping from India. Here is the agriline link but they currently are listed as out of stock. So you might want to try the ebay one.

@@stevewatr That is exactly what I thought after watching the other videos, looked just like the one made in India and sold on eBay. Plus, in your later video it showed water inside of it and you called that out. Great information and thank you!
