Why did you have to change the pressure control? Mine trips the electric off every time I plug it in but I think it might be the pressure control switch which is causing this
This one tripped the workshop. Could be pressure control, or water or moisture leaking internally or in the plugs? Have you tried in a different socket or is there alot of things plugged in on the circuit so when you try the sprayer it overloads and trips the board? It could be the pump is blocked and its trying to start but cant and tripping. Is it clean or when was it last used
Id say that you can get a nice finish with airless for sure, its not necessarily the machine that gives you the finish but actually its down to the tips. So use the right tip, be it graco or tritech etc thats where the finish comes from. Not the actual machine. That just pushes the paint to the gun
What are the symptoms that the pressure control needs replacing? My unit will prime, slowly build pressure but can't maintain pressure to spray. Doesn't appear to be any leaks could this be the pressure control?
If it cant maintain pressure but you have control of it building up it signals to me that its more an internal leak. Either the pumps gone. Or one of the balls arnt seated fully stopping it from maintaining pressure. If its an older unit and sprayed alot. Pump may need a change. Around 120quid
Cheers ill have a nother tinker with it and check the ball valves. If the pump had gone wouldn't it be leaking? As I can't see any signs of a leak It's a cordless GX21 unit
@jamesscott1403 could be dirty inside then. Have you seen my cleaning video for the gxff? Same thing does for the gx21 as its basically the same machine.
Really enjoying your videos so far.
I am considering purchasing a spray set up that is capable of masonry paint.
Any advice on which model please ?
Thanks for watching. Whats your budget amd how often woud you use it
