I’m so glad they still have the 2 door truck option, the way trucks used to be all the time.
I love the hum of the v8 in trucks. The horsepower can be mimicked by a smaller engine with turbos and new tech but you can’t replicate the hum and the experience of a v8.

Bought the same optioned Chevy 2500 work truck about 4 months ago. I had a choice between a truck with carpet and another with vinyl flooring. Salesman said the same exact thing as this guy “go with the vinyl floors they are easier to clean”. Now 4 months later I beg to differ from that statement. Not only is the vinyl harder to clean and keep looking good, it is wearing badly and on recent long hauls my feet are always freezing. Stick with carpet.

I don’t think it has storage in the center console on certain trucks
On the base 2wd model. It doesn’t.

@Ricky Bossy I disagree. Regular cab short beds are stubby, disproportionate, and awkward looking. Meanwhile, the regular cab long bed pickup truck is the quintessential, classic pickup truck look that dominated pickup sales for 60 years before the crew cab minivan trucks started becoming popular. Regular cab short beds are also less useful than regular cab long beds. Having said as much, I'll take a shorty before i take a crew cab any day!
@@Slavic_Boer sport trucks are the exception because they're usually slammed. Its the normal reg cab shorties that look awkward being so short and so tall.

Yes, it’s a work truck model.
It is slightly upgraded with the 4wd and the vinyl seats
