    Im a Swede. Had my 3 children 2 boys, one girl, when I was 19, 25, 30. Not at all planned. Life happens 😂 Constant small children under 6 for 15 years wasnt my or my husbands plan. Sleepovers, birthdays, homework, always someone who was in the age of defiance, schoolcelebrations, always a flow of their friends over. But now at 55 I have 7 grandchildren. And they have always been close. So I think it turned out great. "Life is what happens when your buzy making other plans".

    Don't get too blown away by the houses in the circles - they are merely allotment gardens which you can only live in part of the year, and these are unique with the circles - called Brøndby Haveby. No Danish "communities" are designed like that🙂

      @@GIOBOZZ Big difference between "lets make this country great" and "let's make this country great again". The latter has been used by dictators, despots and fascists since before the fall of Rome. That was the "campaign slogan" for every single empire that claim to be the New Rome. At the moment Russia claims to be the true successor of Rome... but they claim a lot of things. But that is where that slogan comes from, knowing its history it is like a litmus test: whoever says it should NEVER had the power.

    alot have properly told u allready but the round "village" thing is summerhouses/gardenplots. its so people living in the cities can buy a small plot of land to have a garden in, originaly meant for growning extra veggies and allso to relax and enjoy connecting with natur.

    • @ttiwaz4398
      @ttiwaz4398 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      In Finland we have got small village communities called siirtolapuutarha in finnish. They were originally built for the purpose that low income city people could purchase or rent a small and cheap plot and a small warehouse/cabin in it to grow veggies for themselves to feed their family when food supplies were costly and hard to get. In modern time those old plots are very expensive and city people have made them little garden havens/city summer houses.
      I didn't know other nordic countries have plots like that aswell (though this danish gardening village is modern not old like the ones we have in Finland)

    14:58 During the 1700-1800 Sweden actually controlled both *Norway* (wasnt a nation yet) & *Finland* (also wasnt a Nation yet)
    during *The Kalmar union* period.
    *Denmark* was the only ones not in in it. During this time they owned a some land of Finland. And some parts of Estonia (unsure about the years with Estonia conquered) & in 1817 or 1820 we broke up after the lost war from *Russia* that teamed up with some of the Nordics ethnic groups.

    • @kossakken
      @kossakken 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      You are mixing things up. The Kalmar Union was between 1397 and 1523, and between Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Norway was its own kingdom before this, but got devastated during the black plague. Norway was under Sweden between 1814 (due to Denmark-Norway being on the losing side of the Napoleonic wars) and 1905.

    • @Matjo7588dk
      @Matjo7588dk 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sweden never lead the Kalmar Union.
      The Danish monarchs where the only ones to do so. Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Then Sweden took Finland and left.
      Later when Norway gained their independent. Sweden was not happy, so they invaded Norway and took away that independent. Until Norway regained Freedom and choose a Danish prince as their king.
      It was called the Swedish Kingdom or if you feel grand Swedish empire.
      Kalmar union was a different older thing. The Kalmar Unionen ended in 1523. And Sweden just became Sweden, And Norway stayed with Denmark up until they gained independence, only to be invaded by Sweden shortly after.

    • @Matjo7588dk
      @Matjo7588dk 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@kossakken Mostly correct. Do feel like I need to point out Norway did not join Sweden because they where on the losing side of the war alongside Denmark ( And others )
      Norway actually gained its independence. But Sweden did not like that, so they invaded Norway to force them under them.
      A small difference.

    • @kossakken
      @kossakken 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Matjo7588dk Not correct at all. There were minor skirmishes in 1814 which the swedes won, and preludes to war in 1905 which the swedes were soundly beaten. The whole theme of all wars in the Denmark-Norway era was the danes being defeated but the Norwegians demolishing the Swedes. The one exception was major Swedish campaign into Trøndelag, but ultimately, that too was repulsed with heavy Swedish losses. You could never hold a candle to us. Ask Caroleus at Fredriksteen.

      Hey look. My neighborhood sucks.
      I only commented because it's hilarious calling Americans more tough when they can carry guns. But in Sweden, we deal with the same thing completely unarmed. And we still go out like nothing happened.
