Indonesia Ayutthaya kingdoms stones and inscription says ramayana as their story thats why Indonesian ramayana has more than 100 chapters extra than indian ramayana. lets come to the actuals. adhithya karikalan was not a liberal prince. he had wars with north indian kings and won them just because they had welcomed aryan brahmins and also few kings converted vaishnavism on being dewelled in the epic stories they had. like we love bahubali. adhihtya karikalan restore siva religion everywhere he conquered. if adhithya karikalan gets the thrown he will killl every brahmin in the map. he will also destroy their ramayana and other stories completely and move them back to khyber. so they planned for his death from kerela and killed him in kadambur. kerela had vaishnavism a little that time kerela kings allowed a few in. thats why we dont have much of a record of early cheras which was destroyed by brahmins of kerela who migrated from indus. uthama chola was liberal and raja raja chola was also liberal so they had no issues. 3000 brahmins were found in the south and expelled out of south to kerela after the murder of adhithya karikaalan. this is a historical record. 3000 brahmins were sent back.

The author of the Story Kalki himself did not reveal the caste of Killers of Aditya Karikalan as Brahmins in the story anywhere but he told that the killers were Veerapandian's bodyguards, it was clearly mentioned in Udayarkudi stone inscriptions that the killers of Aditya Karikalan was Brahmins. Kalki did not reveal that fact because in Tamilnadu at that time DK had been making a large scale anti brahmin propoganda against their dominance.

It mentioned *1 person from Brahman community* not all of them. The one was Parameswaran. Mr. Mannar Mannan has elucidated on this topic very well. People had been reading the Udaiyarkudi inscriptions wrongly. It had said there were just 3 people not 4 as it is mentioned that Parameswaran is the brother of Brammadirajan (a title given to Brahmans in the court at that time). All 3 hence were not Brahmins. It is also true that Brahmins weren't the majority at the temples, it was Sivachariyars. Only later on invitation of later Chozha kings did many Saivite Brahmans from Kashmir, Kashi etc. came to Thanjavur for the same. The Sozhiyan Brahmans were already part of the Tamil community at that time. Brahmans were anyways from the local populace. In Kerala till date anyone who is educated in the Vedas, Shastras and Upanishads with the Puja vidhis/murais can perform Shiva Pooja and be Melshantis at major Siva temples. Any community even foreigners can become kshatriyas by performing Hiranyagarbha rituals which is how a majority of invaders like Sakas, Hunas etc. like Mihirakula were all converted to Sanatana Dharma and through Hiranyagarbha rituals made Kshatriyas. Brahmins could also initiate anyone to become Brahman, Vaishyas could also do the same and so could Kshatriyas. There is no bar by birth in the Shastras or Dharmashastras regarding change of varna as it is after all based on *Guna and Karma.* In Dakshina Bharat - Tamilakam especially, Sozhas called themselves 'Suryakula Kshatriyas' and the Pandyas 'Chandrakula Kshatriyas' . Cheras - we don't know (no evidence). So someone saying 'Varna' wasn't followed in Tamilakam is again going in the wrong direction. It wasn't hereditary at all. A Brahman's son or daughter could become sculptors and vice versa. The Kallthoor Salai of the Ay Kingdom is testament to the education of Kings of yore.

If the fools want they can check our DNA and compare with the rest of the local populace - *it will be at least 80 - 90 % similar owing to endogamy followed by communities in India.* Tamil Brahmins had different ancestors from North, South, East and West similar to the Sozhas whom had royal relations with the Kadambas, Banas, Chalukyas etc. There is no specific community to become a kshatriya or Brahman or Sudra or Vaishya. These are four professions based on Guna and Karma not on birth. Our ancestors were intelligent enough to introduce the fact that genetic memory is a thing and the next generation of a family having held on to one profession over decades, pass on the memory to the next generation. The child's brain is developed in the foetus and assumes the character of it's mother while the father is only a genetic contributor to the physical body. The shastras match scientific facts pretty well.

This story seems like a community or society is so ingrained in the notion of 'Brahmahatti dhosam'. I was disappointed with ps 2 as it was very rushed and they missed important points such as Arunmozhi love on pongualzi and also the truth about Sendan Amudhan Birth and he is also the heir for cholan Also, Kundavi and Vandiyathevan marriage or engagement was missing. The entire actors did a great job, especially Vikram, and Aishwarya climax was great.
Maniratnam left unfinished some fictional characters such as Poongulali senthan Amuthan karuthirumanan and the twin secret. Buttttt if he did so, it will take part 3😅😅😅

@Priya Shankar exactly maniratnam should have broken this movie into 3 or 4 parts with all the details. I was very passed with Vikram suicidal death even though the scene me was excellent. There Alot of fake scenes instead of a real one. I prefer the book to the movie.

Why Kanthraj is always against brahmins. Brahmins don't have any leader in tamil nadu who can represent them and take their problems and pains to the Chief Minster. All brahmins are not rich. There are lot of poor brahmins struggling in life. The Chief Minister Stalin should also look into the welfare of brahmins and help poor brahmins who are struggling to get jobs or living.
