It also turns out that over the past few years I've become an immense fan of Daneliya. Sure, she doesn't have the otherworldly technical prowess of a Dimash, or the power and resonance of a Lara Fabian, but there is just something in the timbre of Daneliya's voice that I find so alluring, so captivating. Daneliya is from Kazakhstan and knows Dimash. I'm fairly sure she has performed with him. Dimash was on a CBS singing competition show called The World's Greatest. One day he ran into Daneliya and said she too was on the show. Dimash had been told he would not be competing against children and ended up quitting the show to give the children a chance to win the the show. The show treated Dimash horribly. Daneliya has plenty of videos for you to explore.
You are quite right here. Dimash and Daneliya did perform together at a gala concert in Kazakhstan in 2015. Dimash of course was the featured performer, but Daneliya - who was only nine years old at the time, joined him in the final performance. Daneliya is a true specialist in movement control: Vocally, in regard to dance and facial expressions. My favourite is her cover of Eternity (Monatik) in 2018, where she defined the term „performance“ as a Gesamtkunstwerk.
Watching Daneliya it seems to me that (some, at least) artists have a sort of natural age or level of maturity as an artist...Daneliya seems to me to be around 35 years old in that sense. She has the emotional depth of a woman who has lived a full life but hasn't been made bitter. She's able to monitor the audience and modulate her intentions through her amazing mastery of her instrument to like a seasoned professional. Looks like she wants to be a pop star for now; I hope she makes it through without losing herself.

Wow - this interpretation really got to me! Goosebumbs all over the place! How can you be so good at such a young age? There is so much voice- and breath control, amazing! Also, keeping it an acustic version and singing it more smoothly and (I could be wrong here) a touch slower than the original takes away the temper I heard in Faousia's version. At the 5 min mark I'm hearing a tone similar to lizzie mcalpine. Overall you don't need to wonder what Faouzia would sound like if her primary language was Arabic. Forgetting the origional is always hard and not comparing.....She has a killer tone. Awesome reaction again 🙂
As always great reaction I like Daneliya I watched her on AGT and I liked her voice I have seen alot of her covers I wish that she had some really good original that she could get into and see what she is capable of doing she does have a poppy voice but she also has some other elements in there she flashes once in a while she kind of has a very young Demi Lovato style voice I think or maybe a little bit of young Christina Aguilera popish type voice I am still trying after a couple of years trying to hone in on the exact reference to the voice I hear in her but so far thats the closest I can get anyways I like this and your break down as usual thanks for the ride and as always your ride or die forever
