Decades ago, I planned a little hand puppet show at the outdoor wedding of a couple I knew. The song playing in the background was I guess you finally got to me. I had the puppets and act all phases of their relationship. The other bridesmaids were behind a curtain, holding up objects as I moved across with the two hand puppets. It was a tremendous amount of work! It’s continued to make me very impressed by all the work that goes into being a performer.
Yes. Do to know how much pressure it creates on the couple and the rest of the family members ?? Indian marriages have copied this culture of performing from the west .. Are there any traditional weddings keeping to their original cutkture ?? Where the fun happens and unfold naturally? And not practiced and rehearsed?? Everything is a show off and performance including fun ….
There are so many negative comments on what should be a happy video! Just because you wouldn’t, doesn’t mean you get to impose your boundaries on others! Their wedding, their choice! Do you really believe the bride and groom didn’t know this was going to happen!? Please stop with the negativity people!

Would you rather they lie about it just to spare somebody's feelings? You imposed your boundaries on others by indicating they're spreading negativity and should like it just because you think it's perfectly fine. That's not how life works. It's nothing to get defensive about either, because in the scheme of things, it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks, other than the bride and groom themselves.

Hate is an emotion and a much overused word. Ratchet is just a description of something. If it has a negative connotation for you, then that's your opinion. I laughed when I saw the video and never felt any 'hate' towards the creator of the video or its content.. You don't need to explain to me what someone else commented... that's their opinion, and I have mine. I can find more things to give thought to other than worrying about who got their feelings hurt by someone else's opinion. If you got the money to have this big wedding go for it. I do believe more emphasis is placed on the actual wedding day than the rest of y'all's lives. Been there, done that and regret not having a small civil ceremony, would have saved us alot of money.
