- In this video I look at some of the smoothest bowling swings in PBA history. Which bowlers do you think have the smoothest style?

DeeRonn Booker and Patrick Dombrowski from this years title match at the masters both have very smooth swings, Booker has great touch and Dombrowski always makes it look so effortless. I think they would be great additions to a future list! Great video as always :)
Dom Barrett and BJ Moore are smoother than anyone on this list. Zavjalova is just as smooth or smoother than Verity and Daria, plus she has a couple of majors under her belt.
AJ Johnson should also be in it. Andrew Anderson has such a smooth release
Diana Zavjalova should be in it with her 2024 us open performance

This channel made me fall in love with bowling, even tho the market it small where I'm from... but I did go to Partille to see the homeplace of The Ice Man! Can't wait to actually love a sport again!

I don’t think Rash or Cooley are smooth at all.
Rich Wolfe is way smoother than anyone on this list.
I will say his footwork and backswing are different, but his body position, break down of his wrist/elbow, and his release are smooth and perfect to be honest.
Who? Cooley? His ball roll is amazing but his swing is not smooth. He and Rash both have very muscled and controlled swings. They are not free.
@@enigmazero8624 Yes Cooley, but like I said. His foot work and swing are different. A little awkward, but his ball roll is amazing. I agree Rash is muscled and forced, but I don’t know if I feel the same way about saying that for Cooley and his downswing/release. However I can see where you’re coming from.
Yeah he does a lot of things well but the video title is “smoothest swings”. His swing is awkward and forced. I don’t see it.

I am shocked that AJ hasn’t been featured yet! He has one of the smoothest swings I’ve ever seen! Especially his release!

You should look at Jim Stefanich, George Pappas, Don Johnson, Larry Laub, B.J. Moore, Eric Forkel, Dell Ballard Jr, Marshall Holman, and I'm sure there is more I'll come up with.
Please do a video on the modern pull you hand to the left follow through. It seems to be a current trend like Sam, Verity & others.
Have you looked at Anthony Pepe? He has a perfect approach, swing and follow-thru.
You should take a look at the PBA archives and check out Jim Stefanich and Dave Davis. About the smoothest bowlers I have ever seen.
Agree 100% with Blanchard...buttery smooth release!
I literally don't agree with ANY of these "smooth" bowlers listed apart from Nelson Burton Jr.

I agree completely. I guess his definition of "smooth" is different then the rest of the world.
@@rhegafd Maybe you didn't hear him in the beginning of the video. These people in this video were recommended to him by the comment sections. Don't blame him for that.
@@BornIn1500 yeah, you're right. He has no control over his YT video. We lock him in with who we recommend. Thank you for pointing this out. Foolishly I thought he had creative license with his own videos. /fist bump.
I don't know if he has been mentioned in these videos, but Chris Prather has an incredibly smooth swing. I don't see how he is able to get such an incredibly high rev-rate with such a smooth swing.
Zach Wilkins for being a two-hander has a very smooth swing and release
I love Mike Machuga's swing. Perfect, effortless gravity swing.
Sean Rash has a great form but I think the way he cuts off his follow through ruins the "smooth" look. I can agree with the rest.
Said it before I'll keep sayin it, Zach Wilkins. So smooth you don't even hear him release the ball half the time.
I find it interesting how high the backswings are for some of the woman, mine is shoulder high any higher and it feels awkward, great styles though especially Bo
Bo Burton never looked like he threw the ball. He just kind of set it down at the foul line and it seemed to go down the lane.
Carsten hansen has got a pretty smooth swing, his swing is also a little bit similar to mike fagan's swing

Cooley's head itself now looks like a bowling ball.

I really think his attitude is his Achilles heel.
I wouldn't put him on the list, but he's definitely on the smooth side. If you truly don't think he's smooth at all, you're just a hater.
@@BornIn1500 No he isnt... he cups his wrist, its not a smooth and fluid shot at all. Watch Anthony Pepe's swing and release and come back and tell me who has a smooth and fluid swing and release....

Belmonte? No. Hunching over and shuffling your feet will never be smooth. He's definitely one of the smoothest 2 handers, but that doesn't make him smooth overall. It just can't be done smoothly 2 handed.
You are missing Anthony Pepe... For some reason, everyone is.. Pepe has a Michael Fagan-like smoothness and fluidity, but with less hunch-over.
