For someone who didn’t know what she was doing, you did an AMAZING job! The only two things I would have done differently would have been to cover the notebook with the pleather first, before gluing the hard bound books in. And second, i would have used PVA glue. (Sometimes also called book binding glue, but its been my experience that “book binding glue” by name is more expensive.). I WOULD have definitely still used the E6000 for the book jewelry hardware though. I’m so excited about this idea, that I’m really tempted to make one, just so I can say that I did, LOL! Bravo! 👏🏼♥️

Very nice. I use rubber glue. If it is crooked once dried, you can remove the whole thing, rub away the pieces of rubber glue and start again.

It’s beautiful! I’m one of the dummies who spent $700 on mine +shipping to Canada and it didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to. The spine didn’t look the way I wanted it to. I’m wanting to make my own but way smaller! I love this idea!!!

Brilliant! Just FN BRILLIANT! Who has $700 for that Practical Magic book. The imitation is gorgeous but not affordable and we like to fill up our own pages. Hope to see your BOS as you fill in pages.... if you decide to share that. Subscribing.
