She is a great singer but IRL quite a horrible person. Her son was asked to leave a supermarket because he was smoking and she came to that supermarket with a crew of her homies and became violent towards some the personell. She got charged and convicted for it. But all this time the only thing she is doing is pulling “I’m a victim too” card whenever she can and the general public sees right through her and her career has been going nowhere ever since.

( and yes, in court, proof was shown of his scars, so he was hurt, even though those same haters and gossip media want to deny that fact) He told her the staff had beaten him up. His friend confirmed and said they hit him too. They didn't tell the truth. He kept going back in, got a push, fell against something and hurt his face and hand. Also, she didn't go with her homies. They used her phone in the courtroom as evidence and she had had no contact with anyone else than her ( now ex) boyfriend. She told him her son came home bleeding and they hurt him. That she was freaking out and wanted to go there. Her boyfriend said he wanted to go with her. The father of the other boy went there with 2 others, but Glennis had no contact with them. The (gossip) media spread so many lies and never rectified anything. They overruled the judges by totally ignoring 2/3 of the verdict( they were acquittals and the money claims of the victims were denied) They left out that her part in the fight was a push or slap with open hand to the adult man she thought had beaten up her son. They left out the victims claimed after the incident she had caused no pain or injury, but months later wanted to change that statement, The judges denied that, because whether or not something caused pain is something you know right away. They left out the judges literally said she would have gotten total acquittal if she had left the store after that push or slap. She didn't so she was part of the group and held accountable. She was shown on the security footage trying to stop others, but it was not enough for total acquittal. They also didn't mention that her son and his friend were the only minors in the incident, the victims were all adults. For 9 months they had talked to a 17 year old victim, who didn't exist. They didn't check sources. Glennis couldn't talk then, because of the investigation and by the time she could talk, nobody believed her because the lies had been repeated so many times. What she said was confirmeed in court, but people don't check that themselves. So even today lies are still being spread about her beating up children. There were no children and she didn't beat anyone up, she was acquitted for assault. She has said many times she was not a victim, she did talk about her side not getting a chance and the role of the media. Which is exactly what has happened. I read the full verdict and followed the courtcase from live reports by journalists. Those are my sources. Recently she repeated again in "Bar Laat" she never considered herself a victim. She talked about how being cancelled affected her. After 2,5 years she is getting back up again and doing more gigs. The same gossip media are spreading new lies again about nobody wanting to go and that she has only sold 10% of tickets. People don't check real sources and believe everything. For one of the concerts, you can check yourself and in fact 75% is sold, with 6 months to go before the concert. People don't check reliable sources and believe and spread the lies of the ( gossip) media. Haters that cannot stand people liking her are more than happy to spread those lies everywhere. Overruling the judges in many cases. She made a mistake and was punished for it by the court, but some people want her to serve life sentence, and they would want death penalty if it were possible. Not because of her mistake, but because of their own hate. If people are interested they can look up the verdict or look back at Saskia Belleman's live report of the courtcase. For me, Glennis is the only one that is allowed to sing Whitney's songs. She really does her justice and honors her really well. Glennis taught herself to sing by listening to Whitney. She never had singing lessons, Whitney was her teacher in a way. She still describes hearing Whitney's angelic voice for the first time when she was 9 years old and knowing then that is what she wanted to do, she found her voice. She gets emotional when she talks about how much Whitney meant and still means to her. I am really glad to be going to her Whitney Tributes, 6 October in Amsterdam, 15 february in Bruges Belgium and 8 March Antwerp Belgium. As long as she keeps doing these tributes and as long as we keep honoring Whitney, she will never really be gone. Everyone dies twice, first time when your soul leaves your body and second time when nobody talks about you or remembers you.
Great LIFE contribution to W. Houston. Is it a shame no one composer music writer approach her to continue her talent for music just like Houston had different music writers? Is this the evidence of what this world is turning about. Such a shame but at the same time shows how humans really are in these self created messed up times. speaking as someone who was fortunate to see and hear Whitney live and up close, i think Glennis has always been the one who can nail it everytime. total package and vibe. in the summer of '83 i was contracted by the Mayor's office of Boston to cater the backstage food and beverage for 30 outdoor shows over the course of 2 months. we would show up early mornings and meet the roadies, tech, rigging crews, and security, and serve them breakfast, lunch and later dinner, and after the show load the buses with snacks and munchies for their journey to the next venue. similar to a movie lot, there were trailers for talent and a dinning area, all set up on the Boston Commons in the heart of the city. this was her first tour and her first chart buster had only been on the radio for about a week. she was opening for Jeffrey Osborne, and we had never paid much attention to opening acts as that was when we were breaking down our setup for the day. before that evening's show Whitney dined on the buffet we had created backstage for everyone. as i was tending the buffet she approached, reached out her hand to shake mine, and softly said, "thanks. all we ever get is pizza and KFC and you folks have made my day." i was speechless. she was wearing a fringed chamois skin outfit, like a Native American would, and knee high boots. i was dumbfounded and awestruck. i nearly swooned when she shook my hand and looked straight at me across the table. i really did not know who she was or what she was capable of, but it was a great rush nonetheless. her presence was and vibe were simply overwhelming in the best way. about a half an hour later as we were breaking down our equipment the show started. from the first line of her song we all stopped what we were doing and gravitated to the wings of the stage. ifor me it was the highlight of the season. it was a mesmerizing performance, and i've been a devoted fan every since. we met a lot of big name talent that summer, and she was at the top of the list for just being an appreciative person, unlike some who were simply spoiled rude narcissists. so many people sing Whitney songs, and sing them well, but for me Glennis also uncannily conjures the mood and demeanor of Whitney better than anyone else i have seen do her music. its always effortless and never a cheap imitation. again, the variety you present to your followers never gets boring. ☮❤🙏ea
