Exploring Enhanced Level Practice in P&O

This is a webinar to discuss the new national Schema and profession specific curricula for P&O. This is an opportunity to look at how Enhanced practice can support structured professional development and retention in the P&O workforce. We will be exploring what Enhanced level practice is and sharing the learning from the Enhanced practice schema and curricula development. We will look at the routes through Enhanced level practice including the Enhanced practice apprenticeship. We will outline the Prosthetic and Orthotic profession specific curriculum and discuss the workforce priorities across all four pillars and how this is reflected in the document. We will include discussions on the intersect of Enhanced and Advanced level practice and considerations of transitioning from an Enhanced level of to an Advanced level of practice.
