Omar really appreciated the painted. He was choked that you did something for him. They usually are the one taking care of family and friend and not used to receiving something so special❤‼️YOU ROCK!
Thanks Wilfredo. It was a lot of fun and Omar was a really good guy. But then there are so many of them here in Mexico. That is why we love being here so much.
I really LOVE this sort of content. I think often TH-camrs leave so much out! I like the details about walking to places, and what is available. Of course, descriptions of aromas and all the food available makes me smile a lot! Now I for sure want to go... Maybe this Winter if time and money allow for that trip from Central Mexico. So far it looks like we will be in Mexico from December to April... Give or take depending on our experience. I have wanted to check out Huatulco ever since Fred and Cindy moved there! So happy the two of you made it!!! GRACIAS
Oh.. I meant to say I really loved the open-air church! I was invited to an open-air church on the NORTH shore of Oahu, Hawaii with open air sides with windows that had the ability to close with Hurricane shutters. The service was VERY unique as they had a guest speaker, and he was presented with a Beautiful Botanical Lei to wear throughout the service. the Meal they served afterwards was Amazing Hawaiian/Asian cuisine... Oh the Memories!! It poured rain that day during the service, everyone removed their shoes going in... and Music was absolutely gorgeous to hear.
It would have been great if you had been there when we gave the portrait to Omar. Of course, then it would have been another long night. LOL Thanks Winston
Nice areas that you showed us, very pretty. The home that you visited did have a spectacular view! I loved the painting that you did of Omar, Gina, and he really seemed to appreciate it as did the young lady (his daughter?) he showed it to. Loved the black butterfly at the end of the vid.
That is so true. Normally when the government gets involved, there is always room for improvement. My fear for Huatulco is that it becomes the next Tulum.
another great informative video! had fun with you folks hope they’ll be more good times in our future 😊 -and Mark i can understand the grasshopper reluctance but avocados? Come on man!! 😂
LOL, it isn't reluctance, it is I don't eat avocados. Not my cup of tea. Yeah, we will at the least be coming back to Huatulco at some time. We love it there.
Wow Gina how nice and sweet of You to do that portrait!!!! And it is really really great. My Sister was in a Women's Reading Group in Florida ( really a wine meetup lol) and she had them read " The Portrait of Dorian Gray". Can You please do my portrait, and it will age not me. LOL No seriously that was an amazing portrait that You did, You don't seem out of practice at all!
Thanks Tom. The part that made it even harder was that was the arm that she broke. So it took on the role of being a rehab for her as well. It was good for her to do that as I could tell by the change in her demeanor as she did her artwork. It is truly a passion for her and it shows.
Hola Mark and Gina, wow! Sounds like a wonderful destination. Mark are you allergic to avocado’s? I can’t eat them anymore due to tightness in my throat…. Really sucks because I use to love them. Gina you’re brave eating the insects….. Thank you for sharing your interesting travels. Hasta Luego
I may be one of the few people that are not a fan of avocados. Just don't hit my palate right. We are totally two opposites when it comes to food. Gina is adventurous and will eat just about anything, I am strictly a meat and potatoes type of guy. So glad that you enjoyed the video.
Getting cigars here in Mexico can be a little difficult. It is so different than buying them in the US where I just ordered online and it was easy. I currently get mine from Black Chazaro and I have two angels in Queretaro that ship them to me. I pay 60 pesos per stick not counting shipping. When we get to Queretaro I will be able to just go to the factory to get them. I am working on getting some from another source that a friend turned me on to. San Andres from Veracruz. We toured the facility and the cigars are phenomenal and affordable. He orders them using Whatsapp and they ship to him. I am going to give them a shout in the morning.
There are some places that were trying to sell me Habanos while we were there. I get mine from Black Chazaro and friends ship them to me. A friend in Huatulco did hook me up with a few other sites that do ship. The prices are better and I feel like I am getting a better cigar. If you are looking for a place to enjoy one with a cocktail or a beer, El Sanctuario is your place. Omar is the best and he will take care of you.

Gina: ¡Eres muy talentosa! El retrato de Omar es hermoso.
That she definitely is. Thanks.

Thanks Diana. It is a place that is definitely worth visiting. We truly loved the vibe that Centro had there.
Great video. LOVE this couple!!!! Thank you.
Thank you too! Glad that you enjoyed it.

I love Huatulco and plan on moving there soon
That is a good choice. We totally loved the vibe that Huatulco has. It definitely ranks high on our list of towns we are considering.
Good report, nice rendering. I the interaction with your take, and the actual footage clips! VERY NICE!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi guys, good to see you! Thanks for the great content!!
Thanks Mike. We appreciate your taking the time to watch.
I am always suspicious of planned communities, but I like the compact nature of the place, makes it easier to walk places

Great video but I'm with you Mark. No to the crickets for dinner.
Thanks Lisa and yeah, no bugs!
Cafe' Casa Mayor good anytime, get craft beer at Beers +, Yellow Tropical has some good coffee and sandwiches, and seafood at El Grillo Marinero
Thanks for the great recommendations. There are plenty of great places to find you culinary desires fulfilled.
Sir, where do you get your cigars at decent price? I was in Guadalajara this summer and prices were outrageous

@@GringosRUs excellent, thank you!
I noticed you enjoy smoking cigars. Is there any places in the huatulco/la cruzecita area to buy cigars?

NASTY 😵💫
Right there with you on that one Tony. I can't do them.
Damn the prices are awful for Mexico….
They definitely are when you include Airbnb into that equation.
In Mexico, don't worry about perfect Spanish. In Mexico there are hundreds of indigenous people who do not speak Spanish.
Very true Franco. But we want to get better so that we can further enjoy our time here with these wonderful people.
