Will there be a multispectral attachment or will that be a separate drone still?

Hey DJI Enterprise - PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION!!
I noticed the FOV on the M4T is 45°, and the FOV on the existing M3T is 61°. Since the thermal camera has the same 640×512 resolution as the M3T, won't mapping jobs take WAY LONGER since we'll have such a decrease in overlap for the same altitude?
However, does the M4T support super resolution mode during thermal mapping at a 0.7 second shutter interval? That's the only possible way this makes sense.
And as a follow up to that, since the super resolution is only scaling up off of the 640×512 sensor, is the super resolution thermal image good enough to compensate for the 26% increase in altitude I'll have to fly at? I need answers! My clients need to know too.
Please respond - as I have not been able to get confirmation for this concern. Thank you!

Have seen you make this question on another video, I hope they answer you. Meanwhile, have you tried contacting them directly?

      1. When using the M4T thermal camera for operations, if the same flight altitude is used as with the M3T, the M4T will require a longer operation time. However, if the same GSD is used, it will not increase the operation time. This is because the focal lengths of the M4T and M3T thermal cameras are different. The equivalent focal length of the M4T is 53 mm, while the equivalent focal length of the M3T is 40 mm.
      2. M4T supports a fastest photo interval of 0.7S, but M3T also has a photo interval of 0.7S during operation, so there is currently no difference in speed.
      3. The use of super-resolution mode to generate routes is not supported during route operations. But after the flight starts, you can turn on the super-resolution mode, which will not improve efficiency, but the effect will be better.
M4T can obtain data at higher altitudes, with better signals and safer flight.

Can we avoid objects wile 3D capture and also is it possible to fly with rtk/base station safely for the 3D missions?

Not sure if the avoid objects mentioned are referring to the drone's obstacle avoidance function?
If it refers to obstacle avoidance, then the answer is YES!
In 3D mission, you can choose to turn on obstacle avoidance to ensure flight safety.
You can choose to connect to the local CORS network or set up D-RTK3 yourself to achieve centimeter level positioning flight.

My task is to detect and lock in on a whale in the calm sea condition, video on only when the whale is captured, and when the whale disappears stop recording automatically. Is this possible with this new drone? I assume it uses the laser range finder. I have one on order so when will they be shipping from DJI?

Thank you for your support of DJI Enterprise products.
Currently, the built-in AI model can detect vehicles, vessels, and subjects during search and rescue operations or routine flights.
If you want to detect whales, you can develop your own AI model based on our hardware. For more information, please visit the DJI developer website: developer.dji.com/ai-developer/
For delivery time, it is recommended to contact the local dealer.
