Binter Canaries CRJ-1000s in action

- Recent events have seen a huge variety of aircraft being retired, never to be seen flying in the near future. With the demise of Flybe in February, the Bombardier Dash8 Q400 has since become a rare type to now see inside the UK.
Another example is in the Canaries where Binter Canaries have operated the Bombardier CRJ-1000 since they took delivery of their first example back in 2017 (having previously been operated by Air Nostrum). The type has been in storage since European traffic declined due to the recent downturn in travel back in March 2020.

Forgot to mention my favourite of all time - the VC10. My dad and me watched one take off at Prestwick from the overbridge at the site of Monkton station one evening in about 1977. That is only some 400m from the start of the take-off run and the noise was so loud and at such a pitch that my rib cage was vibrating! I take it modern engine design would reduce the noise produced. Despite that, they were a fantastic design.
The VC10 is one of my favourites too
Awesome video mate... I love the binter air livery... Keep up the great work 😃👍🏻
Thanks a lot! Same here. Their CRJ1000s were great to see as well. Cheers 😊
Nice
Thanks
Woow👍🏼👍🏼😍
😊 Thanks for watching
Oh wow never seen a CRJ any type of CRJ although I live in Edinburgh I bet I’ll see one nice vid
The CRJs are great to see, Lufthansa occasionally have brought them into Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Oh can’t see one right now cause I’m on quarantine
Lovely. For me, the only elegant design of a larger airplane is with raised elevators and rear mounted engines. Love the EMR145, MD11, MD80, IL62, and TU134. All the rest are boring!
Thanks for watching Andrew. I love the MD82
