@@thenandraloneking The only thing she said she would do in 10 minutes of talking was to build houses whilst lying about the green belt. If you look at the number of houses, it's not even enough to house our net migration figure so demand will continue to outpace supply anyway. If you want one, I suggest you black up, go over to France and hop in a dingy.
She span the American's comments. She refrained from saying what we know she thinks of Trump. Devolving power is obviously about shirking responsibility for raising taxes - they don't have to devolve tax raising powers after all but they will. She refrained from taking the position we know she holds on the 2 child limit. She managed to plug 'great british energy' in the same breath as 'entrenched inequalities'.
Overall, I am very impressed, she must have practiced and undergone a lot of training to deliver all of this so seamlessly. If I did not speak fluent politician, I would feel quite hopeful - I am actually quite hopeful in fact, but it's a naive, foolish hope of someone who knows better but so desperately wants to be surprised.
