I always come back to this theme. It makes me feel like a monk in a medieval library reading some forgotten ancient history tomes that nobody has seen in ages in the middle of the night with my lantern and moonlight learning some truths along the way.
Checkpoint: This track makes me think about the past and how happy I was while playing Chrono! Today, at 37, I don't have all this happiness bias, however, day after day, I wait for my time to come!
I still think this is the best track ever on SNES. Is there a more perfect music for learning a church is infested with monsters and then going into the dark back areas of it?
"Four hundred years have passed since Magus commanded the fiends, and waged war against the humans. But if Lavos can be reawakened, there will be no more humans." Ironic considering that all the fiends seem to have been wiped out by Lavos, yet some humans (barely) survived.
Well acc there are some fiends living on death peak as u fight some there and also not to forget that death peak was the area where lavos arose in 1999 so theres that too
@@martinat3884 ok nvm I got mixed up with the dimensional vortex in 12000 BC that looked like death peak there aren’t any fiends there at all you’re correct😂, however it is true also that Lavos caused their extinction as medina is one of the towns mentioned being destroyed in the bad ending of the game and if we were to look even further into the fiends after that it could be argued that mutants found in the future such as dondragos and armless mutants are a result of the possible surviving fiends mutating to the environment after the day of Lavis since those enemies replace the fiends you would have fought the majority of the time in all other ages bar pre history but that’s just a theory so don’t take my word for it :P

Correct. Uematsu composed "Silent Light," "Mystery of the Past," "People Who Threw Away the Will to Live," "Bike Chase," "Underground Sewer," "Primitive Mountain," "Burn! Bobonga!," "Tyran Castle," and "Sealed Door."
@@BlazeIgnitus Aha, I was pretty sure this was by a different composer than the majority of the soundtrack! Thanks for confirming. It's a shame Mitsuda had health problems and couldn't make all of the tracks, but it's also a blessing we could have such a renowned composer taking care of those remaining tracks, especially this one, "Mystery of the Past", "Underground Sewer" and "Sealed Door".

Just realizing that the catchy bass rhythm is very similar to FFIV's "Land of Dwarves", cause it seems that Silent Light is one of the OST themes composed by Nobuo Uematsu, and not Yasunori Mitsuda. In any case, it's an excellent piece, now and then ✨
@@jonathanhargraves2241 You look at official sources like album covers, label sites, etc... typically companies are doing a pretty good job at crediting their music producers, and state who specifically composed, arranged, and produced each individual track, but unfortunately, a lot of the people who reupload the music on TH-cam don't do their research, and just put everything under the main composer, which is why TH-cam's copyright system exist, and if you look down in the description, it does indeed state that it was made by Uematsu.
