I just finished NG++, that was hella fun! Everything was easier with the new weapons so it wasn’t as much of a chore as the first play. I also love the alt missions and exclusive missions found in both NG+ and NG++.
When Rusty disables the limiter and fires the rail cannon at 115%, man it's so cool. I've heard him say that a bunch of times now due to the NG+ and it never gets old. Always feels epic.
More Armored Core tips for newcomers: - Some missles are classified as "pincers", because they pause / have an arc trayectory before hitting so you can use them for pressure tactics. The idea is that you get in range of your other weapon, trigger the pincers, charge in and slash or shoot as the pincers hit in order for them to track the pressured enemies. I used them for a while and they are definitely viable with practice. - Weapons show their "Ideal" and "Effective" ranges in the extended Stat section: Ideal is minimal chance to ricochet; the further from it you go, the chance to ricochet increases. Ricochet Hits can still be valuable though, while they inflict a minimum amount of damage and stagger they also briefly pause your target's stagger bar from draining. - In the shop, press Square to show a brief video of how a weapon fires. This will show all firing modes on any weapon. Good fast way to get an idea how long something takes to charge or how a missile will fly before you purchase it. - You can change the name of your AC on the AC Data screen. By default it is named "Loader 4".
Max fighting the PCA craft with his heavy explosives build is like watching a guy try to swat a fly with a cast iron frying pan. He does kill that fly though.
If there's one thing I've learned in this playthrough, it's that max is a fucking PROFESSIONAL at looking anywhere except the right way for cinematics. Whether it be the PCA warship's first appearance, or the Ice Worm getting shot by Rusty for the first time (where the game even puts the worm in front of you for it), he's truly mastered the act of missing the cool stuff.
CHAPTER 3…. I just finished this one. That final fight of the chapter wasn’t as difficult as SEA SPIDER and BALTEUS, but the PRESENTATION!!! Peak epic boss battle!

If you watch the radar, you can see the game literally teleport the Ice Worm into the center of your screen before the shot. You have to TRY to miss it like this.
@stevenluoma1268all of the end bosses are just survive in my experience, the classic op Zimmerman and needle launchers handles the last boss pretty easily. Just hard focus it and try to get through phase 1 asap is the best way to go,
My gamer brain couldnt look away from the cannon charging in the horizon the first time i fought it. And i figured out the worm always spawns in front of you, so you get to see everyting, the cannon, the worm, the scene. But people usually get desperate and keep searching for the worm, because, well.... It is a fromsoft bossfight lol
The pre mission briefing for the raven fight lies to you in such an excellent way. I went into that fight massively Ill prepared for an AC fight and I had to absolutely fight my ass off. Beating that boss first try was a really rewarding feeling
The amount of people who don't know how the fuel tanks in "Attack the Refueling Base" look like is staggering, even though they are shown in the briefing. I've seen people destroy literally everything except the fuel tanks and then complain why they didn't get a bonus.

The Aorta generator is actually pretty damn good if you know how to use it and have a good build around it. The key is to purposefully use all of your energy to get a good amount of it back quickly.
I always chalked it up as what if the LCL soup of NGE, and the Getter Ray of Getter Robo had a fusion dance (former being a sea of human consciousness, and the latter being an entity with a will of its own that's also being used as an energy source).
@@SuperZechsWrong. Armored Core 6 is great from the first playthrough (unless Mechas aren't your thing). NG+ and ++ just adds so much that the experience becomes different. Starfield meanwhile is just...there.
Gotta for everything people love Fromsoft. People really underappreciate the sound design and direction of the souls games but ESPECIALLY this game. I feel like a blindfolded playthrough of this game wouldn't even be that bad because of the massive ammounts of information every little *ding has in your mech. And of course, the moments when everything quiets down and the massive shots happen are simply chilling.
This imo was the peak hype moment. I knew from playing through to this point they were focusing on rusty being the goat but the sound cutout followed by his "i wont miss got me hyper than i was expecting "

If you toggle the full spreadsheet display you'll see the Aorta and its bigger, battle log sibling the NGI whatever tf have abysmal recharge rates and delay but when recharge initiates you get almost topped off. The whole draw of the Coral generator series is it has peaks and valleys of energy supply rather than being more steady/stable. You blitz, then go on the defensive for a few seconds while your regen intiates before being able to full blitz again.
Him calling parts or weapons “bad” without understanding them is getting old. Like, if he just looks at the stats he can use the help menu and it’ll explain everything to him. But he’s just so fuckin’ incurious.
AC6 is game of the year territory. It's SO good even playing casually. I know BG3 will take the rouge carpet because it is phenomenal but AC6 deserves 2nd place for sure.

Yes the Coral Generators recharge rate is bad to be sure, but the cool thing about it is if you completely empty out your energy during flight, after a few seconds it will refund 75% of your maximum energy back, allowing you to return to flying around like a maniac.
I might be mistaken, but I assume Raven is silent for the same reason 621 is. Their gender is left up to the player, because it's suppose to be the players gender. I imagine you're suppose to imagine 621 as yourself, and I imagine the license has gender... maybe I'm not sure, but it's the only reason i can imagine that previous raven is silent.

@@arclite95 It does feel odd that the old Raven doesn't talk. Maybe when we entered our pilot name we could have filled out our pilot license. Then they could have had two VAs based on your selected gender. But I get that it's alot of work for one (twoish) relatively minor AC fights.

@@thehumanstunlock7588Except what made Stun Needle strong is Electric Discharge, by itself its too slow, go use all the other Grenade Launcher(Except Songbird) if you want a big slow weapon with massive AOE Stun Gun is WAY better at abusing Electric Discharge, only downside is it and to some extent Zimmerman and Gatlings are super vulnerable against Shield Users(Especially Buckler, Coral Shield, and 61PSA Pulse Scutum)
1:27:22 this mission looks like dps builds would just breeze through it. Enemies are weak but numerous. Having cool down is a big negative in Max's build
Ice Worm is a nice spectacle but it does suffer slightly from just having to wait a whole bunch. Still pretty neat, considering the Sandworm in Dark Souls 3 was just relegated to a stage hazard, so now it's successor has a chance to shine a little.

This is my GOTY.... I havent played a game this fun in a long time.. Fromsoft is amazing, they really make thee best games ever. I hope they put out an expansion soon, AC games usually get expansions.
From Sekiro onwards, fromsoft doesn't seem to be that interested in doing dlcs like before. Idk why. Even elden ring had no dlc planned and they only started development on it this February because of the community's demand. Idk how/if they'll do it for this one but I've a feeling it'll get the Sekiro treatment where there's not a whole lot to the dlc

Uff that Pile Driver-shotgun combo at 4:04 hurt to watch. There's a certain boss that you can basically cheese with the Pile driver and a good high impact weapon... I'll let you all figure out which one is. Unless you know, but don't tell.

Finished 3rd Playthrough. Prepare for pain, Chap 4 is pretty brutal, and depending on your choices, Chap 5 can be insane.

96 hours to perfect this game on all 3 routes. No regrets. Haven't enjoyed a mech game since Zone of the Enders 2.

Ice Worm is a nice spectacle but it does suffer slightly from just having to wait a whole bunch. Still pretty neat, considering the Sandworm in Dark Souls 3 was just relegated to a stage hazard, so now it's successor has a chance to shine a little.
You don't actually have to wait that much. You can hit it at any point, if your aim is good enough.
Yeah pretty much like learning his move set. You can hit early when he pop out.
It took me way longer than I'd like to admit to remember what worm in DS3 you were talking about.

This is my GOTY.... I havent played a game this fun in a long time.. Fromsoft is amazing, they really make thee best games ever. I hope they put out an expansion soon, AC games usually get expansions.
From Sekiro onwards, fromsoft doesn't seem to be that interested in doing dlcs like before. Idk why. Even elden ring had no dlc planned and they only started development on it this February because of the community's demand. Idk how/if they'll do it for this one but I've a feeling it'll get the Sekiro treatment where there's not a whole lot to the dlc
@@bruhder5854 nah if you look back in the day all AC games pretty much got mission/story expansions. It just seems like adding new missions would be dumb not to we'd all throw our money at them. Either way I'm looking forward to anything Armored Core from now on, love this game.

Uff that Pile Driver-shotgun combo at 4:04 hurt to watch.
There's a certain boss that you can basically cheese with the Pile driver and a good high impact weapon... I'll let you all figure out which one is. Unless you know, but don't tell.
