Had this model and it lasted for years on end; amazing quality. Performed great for all the medivacs, cargo trips, night ops, and heli ski adventures! I had quite the imagination lol (still do). Just bought a new one since I recently donated the old one so I’m excited to fly it once again!
I got it like 4 years ago an it still works perfectly. After a very bad crush (my fault) I had to replace the propeller blades as one was broken in half. Even so the helicopter flew but had become unstable and nervous at the controls
look into changing the battery out later on. Ive had mine for over 5 years, and eventually had to change the battery, from 150 to a 180, it now flies a bit longer and just as well, Best 20 bucks for an RC Ive ever spent.
And yes you can still find spare parts like crazy for these. I bought the spare part kit but have never broken anything on it in 5 years, but just in case I still have spare parts for years. I cant see why this thing wont last forever basically.
I am in Brisbane Australia and I think your presentation on the Syma S107 S107G 3.5Ch Remote...It was very good thank you now I will buy one on eBay Best Regards Adrian McFeeter BA.CS,
Adrian McFeeter that is awesome! I am glad that I was able to show how good of a flyer this heli really is. It’s well worth the money spent and good luck with yours when you get it. You will like it a lot.
I have a Syma S5 Gyro 3 channel in the red, white and black already. I like it and it holds up well to crashes while learning to fly it. After I watched this video I ordered 3 of your model shown here S107G and 3 extra sets of blades for them. I want to put them back for when they get crashed up too bad or wear out from use while they still have them and sell them for the $22 price. The extra blades and parts were $3.99. It's crazy they can make and sell something of this quality for that price. It won't last forever and times will change. Until then let the good times roll. Some college graduate fresh out of school with something to prove an a vendetta will figure out these should sell for a hundred bucks a piece and raise the price.
Can't beat the durability and performance for the price. This helicopter has been around for awhile and still very popular. Syma makes some good products and lets hope the price stays affordable.
@@ReadytoRunRC Update: I had no idea how much I enjoy these micro helicopters and ordered a Blade 70S and a Eachine E119 on the 4th Of July for later when I get better at flying. The Blade 70S I got for $59.99 and the Eachine E119 was $68.99. Even so these Syma S107Gs will still be my indoors helicopters. You can't use the power or maneuverability of the others inside the house. At $22.98 each the price can't be beaten for what you get. I think they are a perfect trainer to lead up to the intermediate micro R/C helicopters. I would bet that the Syma S107G holds up better to crashes too. They claim the others are trainers but they aren't really. You should start out with a Syma S107G first. Collect and fly as many as you like, this one will always be here to stay as a winner. I also agree the Kawasaki green color is the one to get and I did....x3!
The green is the best. Definitely fun flyers for indoors. I wouldn't even want to try flying the E119 or Blades 70s indoors. Happy flying with your new birds.
HawaiianHoney11 it’s such an easy flyer. Have fun with your CX Stars and your S107g. You should be getting your drone in the next couple days. I sent it out Friday.

You still have these? I like the green one myself, I just built one. I had the micro lightning for years just the copter, no idea where it came from. I thought it was kind of neat, too neat to toss, so It just sat around for years. Finally I looked it up, and ordered a set of used on Ebay. After 8 to 10 years I finally got to see it fly. It is now dressed in the green body kit.

The USB cable sucks.....after 3 charges it's broke down....so charge it with the controller. I bought a second one (yellow). for indoors they are great copters

mnnm 666 thank you for watching from Argentina! This helicopter does perform very well especially in small spaces. It is easy to control and very stable. 4 channel would not be a good thing to fly indoors in a small space although there is a really small 4 channel helicopter that Blade makes which is called the Blade 70s and it is actually a great indoor beginner helicopter. Best of luck in finding the right helicopter for you.
I won't have nearly as much space to maneuver in the room I expect to fly in as you used outdoors. I'd have to mostly from a hover just crawl from position to position. Can I do that easily enough?
