    Always good to see the gear working!
    How did the Howard perform belted to the thrashing set?

      It did really well first time since the 1920's it had driven belt machinery and it did really well.

      We don’t think of ploughing engines on the belt, but why not! I suppose you would need a governor to drive rack saw bench though.
      Is there a plan to have the two Howard’s ploughing at the steam club 60th anniversary next year? Not heard if they got site yet!

      ​@@Dave.w-ev9qn1962it did have a governor at one time, sadly the ploughing gear was removed when it went to Australia so it wouldn't be able to cable plough anymore, I would love to see the 2 howards together though but that would be up to the owners

      Interesting that a governor was fitted Back in the day.
      Be great to see them together on the field, even if she can’t plough. Just cost so much to transport the gear around nowadays!
