- In this video I am going to show you how to create Off The Edge cards with your Cricut. These might also be called side edge cards, shaped edge cards or fancy edge cards.
I will show you how to make this, but if you want to make the HELLO card I did save that as a Cricut project file so that anyone can us it!

For the card that is in the photo that says To Infinity and Beyond, I used the font AR Destine, and added two offsets to the words. You can also use the Cricut project file at design.cricut.com/landing/pro...

Thanks! Great shaped cards and very thorough instructions.
Great job in explaining how to do it.
Thank you for this awesome tutorial!
Thank you so much I learned a lot from your video!
The first time I seen someone post a card on Facebook with the edges cut off, i wanted to learn so bad and I struggled with videos and then trying on my CRICUT was even worse. Your tutorial was so easy to follow and writing down the steps was easier than most I have watched!! Thank you so very much Shawn!! I'm now subscribed to your channel.
Thank you so much! If you see others struggling with the process, make sure to tell them to come watch MY VIDEO!
I know of one Cricut group where people seem to think this is a brand new idea, but as you can see from the date on my video, I have been teaching people how to do this for 2 years!
@@TheShawnMosch I will definitely send them your way!! And yes, I thought this was new as well, but I've only been crafting for 1 year and a bit but never wanted to try cards until someone posted this edge cutting card. Thank goodness you explain all your steps!
@@ladycountry68 If you want to learn more cards, I have a list with over 20 card styles. You should check my website for even more info!
And please let me know if you ever have questions! Or if you are watching a video that does not make sense and I can help you out!
This was so helpful. Thank you.
Shawn, this video is great. Easy to follow and I'm so happy I learned how to make these cards. So much fun. Thank you!!!
I am so glad that you thought my video was easy to follow! That is always my goal!
This is a wonderful card, I love it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for a great tutorial
Thank you Shawn. I've seen an off the edge card using hearts and the hearts are "debossed". How would you get that debossed line in the hearts? I guess it could apply to your starts as well.
That sounds like a fun card . . . and something I might have to try! I would just change the operation of the stars to Deboss and then attach them to the card base.
@@TheShawnMosch I don't think I have a Deboss operation on my Air 2.
@@lucygriffioen5093 Debossing is just for the Maker, but you could use the Scoring Stylus and change those shapes to a Score operation to create a similar look
@@TheShawnMosch oh thank you, another lesson learned. I didn't know I could change a shape to a score.
How can I cut 2 cards at one time? I am able to duplicate the card but not the colored stars …help?
In the mat preview screen you can change the number of copies and click apply.
@@TheShawnMosch thanks for the quick reply!!
