The program they use for vocal recording sessions is Pro Tools, industry standard DAW, and if you look closely to their individual tracks on the screen they record clean with no plugins. They record directly to out-the-box analog compressors, EQ, and FX straight into their DAW which is pretty cool. Just some producer insight 👍

I think its so cool that you know what you are talking about when it comes to the studio behind the scenes. NCT are really transparent with their studio uncuts and the process on how they make their songs. I think you reacting to their studio recordings would be such a neat series for you to do as this is something you know about.

Sm producers are known to shower their idols with praises! They know once you do, it brings out the artists' confidence more
Taeil seems a little bit critical to himself in this because what he was doing is quite different combined with how the music the producer visioned him singing for it. So she’s really awesome praising him a lot so he will confidently keep trying until both of them arw satisfied.

From home always makes me emotional but Yangyang saying “Dankeschön” (German) and “Gracias” (Spanish) in the part with the baby pictures is just killed me. I’m always down for multi lingual idols. The way Yangyang or ten pull out 4 or even more languages in one conversation is so amazing. I really admire that.

Girl u need to check out my everything. Renjun's falsetto, taeil powerhouse highnote and xiaojun's flawless vocals . They just blend in together and harmonize with each other. It's one of my comfort songs all the time.

Doyoung might be my fave NCT vocalist. His voice is just so emotional but piercing with high notes. He can hit high notes with his unique tone and vocal technique. His voice just transcends emotions.

Not just the thank you in different languages part. They all sing in their mother tongue. The verse by Chenle, Kun and Rejun is in Chinese, and the one by Yuta is in Japanese. The rest was in Korean. And there are parts where they sing together in Korean and English.

Gurl if you want guides react to "Guide to Nct 2020" from CLKX fiction. Theres 3 parts(3 vids). Theres introduction of all 21 members. Shotaro and Sungchan isnt there tho so maybe you could do another reaction for them. But this guide out of all the guides i watched is the best imo.

FACT: Everyone, fan or not, that watched From Home rearranged version ended up crying at some point.
Trivia: From Home basically means all of them finding home in NCT. This hits differently especially when the foreign members, NCT has 13 for now, sing on their mother tongues (Renjun, Chenle and Kun in chinese, Yuta in Japanese, Haechan, Taeil and Doyoung in Korean). On the From Home MV where the part on which the song stops, they were actually saying thank you on the all the languages the members speak. I think they said thank you in Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Im not sure if they said thank you in Cantonese too), English, German, Thai and Spanish.
And also, I believe they used the audio from their MAMA performance for the MV of the rearranged version. They just enhanced it a bit to fit an MV but yeah those are live vocals on that MV.

This is such a classic SM-style ballad, all their older groups like Fly to the Sky, DBSK, and even SHINee in their early days used to do songs like this more often so when I saw NCT release this, the NOSTALGIA!!! This production and vocal style just screams Yoo Youngjin (he's been one of the main SM producers since forever). My granny KPOP heart is so full seeing this kind of music in current KPOP again 🥲

Nct currently have 23 members now with 4 sub unit.. Nct U, Nct 127 , Nct Dream & WayV.
* Nct 127 - It's a fixed unit with 9 members - Taeyong (Leader),Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Jungwoo, Mark & Haechan. (Winwin was a member of 127 but he isn't active anymore as 127 since he join wayV 2018 )
* Nct Dream is now a fixed sub unit with 7 members - Mark Lee (Leader) , Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Haechan, Chenle & Jisung.
Nct Dream used to be an only teenage boy group so Mark was graduated from nct dream on dec 31 2018 after he turn 20 (19 for international age) but came back on 2020 April again after they abolish the age graduation system.
* Nct WayV is a sub unit of Chinese boy group with 7 members -
Kun ( Leader) , Ten , Winwin, Lucas, Xiaozun, Hendery & Yangyang
* Nct U is a rotational group for all 23 members. It can change the members with who fits the concept & songs.
* 2 new members Shotaro & Sungchan were added on Nct 2020 so new sub unit are on the way..
Also Nct Hollywood is officially on the making through an audition program.. It's going to be an All American boy band.
Note - Both Mark & Haechan are in Nct 127 & Nct Dream. Mark is in SuperM as well with Taeyong , Ten & Lucas . ( superM is a powerful boy band from different SM group Shinee, Exo, Nct127, Dream & WayV)

I love this song, so much. The concept is that members come from all over the world and find their home in NCT (which is why the captions spell "city" as "CT," NCT is sometimes pronounced as "NCity"). The rearrange MV is all their journey as trainees, in SM Rookies (a pre-debut group SM had for a while), debuting, and the different subunit journeys. The chorus is in Korean, and in the verses the Korean members sing in Korean, the Chinese members in Mandarin, and Yuta (the only Japanese member in this unit) in Japanese. It's just really sweet and I love it so much.
ETA: This is a good chunk of the vocal line, but not all of it. And technically Yuta is dance line, lololol (I adore his voice, one of the reasons he's my bias).

I'm so glad you reacted to them again and that you liked it! I love the rearranged version, the mv makes me so emotional that I cried the first few times I watched it. I highly recommend that you watch the Nct Dream MVs in release order, it's really cool to see them grow over the years (but only if you want to, it's just a recommendation anyway) and there's also a collaboration with an artist british (HRVY) which is my favorite song of all time "Don't Need Your Love", only 5 members participated along with it, but the song is really good, but as the video can only have 4 songs, I recommend it you watch "Chewing Gum", "Go", "We Go Up" and "Hot Sauce".
If you're doing a WayV marathon too, I recommend "Regular" (debut), "Moonwalk", "Love Talk" and "Turn Back Time", I love these and would love to see your reaction (in your time, please don't be feel pressured, these are just recommendations).
