You're right about the languages, they actually sang the song in Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English. From home is one of my favorite b-sides from NCT fr, like the vocals are INSANE‼️❤️
Its sang in 4 different languages Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English.. The members in this song are Haechan, Doyoung, Kun, Yuta, Taeil, Renjun and Chenle... The rearranged versions makes me cry every time seeing there journey together and it hits harder now that Sungchan, Shotaro and Lucas aren't in the group anymore 🥺... I just love this group so much 😭😭

The arranged version is the live performanced at MAMA 2020 originally. It was so great and you must watch all NCT stage at MAMA 2020. It was the best eras so far
The rearranged version always makes me cry as if I'm watching it for the first time especially as someone who has literally seen them grow in their careers.
Nct 2020 was indeed one of the best best eras as Nctzen because we got good ass songs and even the contents are so good.

Yes, in NCT-U's "From Home" they are singing in multiple languages. Taeil, Doyoung and Haechan are Korean; Kun, Renjun and Chenle are Chinese; and Yuta is Japanese. So this song has Korean, English, Mandarin and Japanese lyrics. Each of the members at one point were singing in their native language. (Fun fact: YangYang is the one who speaks German because he spent several years living in Germany as a child.)
As you may remember, Taeil (the oldest member of all of NCT) and Doyoung are both main vocalists from NCT-127, Heechan is a main vocalist of NCT-127 and NCT-Dream, Kun is the leader and lead vocalist of WayV, Renjun and Chenle are main vocalists of NCT-Dream, and Yuta is a lead vocalist from NCT-127.
To really appreciate the live rearranged version, you have to check out their MAMA 2020 award show performance of the song. It's a rearranged version because it includes more than just the NCT members you see in the MV. It has so much more impact when you see the live performance, not just hear it.
Keep in mind that this was during the height of the pandemic and everyone was feeling separated and we were all struggling with the fact that we couldn't have that human connection and interaction. So this song is particularly meaningful because NCT was able to create a connection and remind us that we are all going through the same things regardless of where we call home. It's a particularly meaningful song for the foreign members of NCT -- because the members were physically separated from their homes and they were unable to see their families -- and all of NCT's international fans because they couldn't hold live events or travel to meet their fans in other countries, etc.

nct 2020 is so special to nctzens who stan all units.. sungchan, shotaro and lucas aren't in the group anymore but me personally will always remember the 23 of them as once a perfect group. resonance era was just something else, they did released albums as a whole group too in 2021 and 2023 but oh no one could beat HER. resonance era had nct world 2.0, the non skip albums, the relay cams, sun and moon, the beyond live, the award shows, the interactions in general 👌🏻👌🏻 it just hits different, i'm sure SM actually tried lol but universe and golden age couldn't even come close to resonance
and yes it's a live performance from an award show in 2020 called MAMA, you should check it out because there you could actually listen to their vocals. heavenly highnotes tbh, likeee i can't really focus on the vocals here because the emotional video distracted me

Yuta and shotaro(riize)are from Japan
Ten is from Thailand
Yangyang is a taiwanese but lived in German
Mark is from Canada
And Johnny is an american who lived in Chicago.
So this songs means a lot for members and also for fans.
