    What’s amazing in all of this, is that you see women break down their preferences in men all day & night on SM. The moment one man outlines his personal preferences, it becomes WW3. If nothing else, this shows how emotional and hypocritical many women are.

    • @So-what692
      @So-what692 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      😂😂😂😂 This is not at all what women had an issue with. The fact that so many males do not understand that is why we are in the state we are in now…… Emotion is not synonymous to being a woman. Not being able to rationalize rebuttals and illogically make gaslighting arguments is out of pure emotion/ignorance and arrogance not logic. The fact that males can’t understand that says a lot. If you think women have an issue with Cam definition of what is or not being a “bad b****” is to him, women have absolutely no chance in reciprocated/healthy relationships.

      I think it’s because Cam contradicted his own statement. Cam temporarily settled with a woman that was a former stripper and had multiple children with her. Then left her only to have another kid with an IG model that worked for him. How is a “bad bitch” worthy of having your children but not being taken serious enough as a girlfriend/wife? If “bad bitches” have nothing to offer, why have kids with them? It’s a classic message > messenger situation.

    Cam is right. Everybody needs to know the role they play and the requirements of that role. The main issue with society now is everybody wants to be everything but do no work and suffer no consequences. We want to be leaderless, we want to be faultless, we want to avoid responsibility but at the same time we want to be heard and we want to be boss and we want all the spoils of a lifestyle or lifestyles we don't want to do one ounce of the work required to actually achieve it. Women on the one hand want to be in positions of leadership and power and at the head but at the same time want to pull the victim card with a quickness and want to be taken care of like they are children. Men on the one hand want women to sit back and be seen and guided but don't want to lead a family or give any directions. We got kids now who tell their parents what to do and what they are not going to do. Solutions. Be true to who you are and let others know what you will and won't accept. It may mean you don't get who you want but rather who you need by your side. Lastly beat kids asses when necessary and also give them direction not just tell them they can do whatever they want.

    A woman once told me that to combat the insecurity about the wage gap in her family dynamic (she was the bread winner), she gave her husband the responsibility of paying the bills. She had both of their checks deposited into a joint account and he managed the household finances from that account. She says this worked for them because he was in charge of the household finances.
    Personally, I want to stay home with the babies, make the home, cater to my family / man etc. I have my passions on the side that I would like to continue to work on but it’s for the love of it not the $. I believe like Math said a man WANTS to provide it’s just natural. I believe in the natural order of things.

    I'm a 33 year old man extremely happily married with three children and my wife and I had a conversation 5 years ago about where we were going and what benefits came from both of us working. Granted she was only 24 at the time and I 26 so you can imagine how lucrative either of our jobs were. After figuring everything out we realized it actually cost us money most weeks for her to work because of her and my schedule, the cost of daycare for our two kids at that time, and vehicle expenditures. If anything happened to the children I would have to take off work due to me being a carpenter with my freedom of schedule. However me getting off potentially three maybe even 4 hours early would cost us more money than if she didn't go to work for the whole day. It made more financial sense for her to leave her position and be home to take care of everything within the home but also mostly anything that would come up throughout the day requiring me to leave work. Plus with the additional freedom of not having to have daycare if I had a side job come up on the weekend I was able to dedicate much more time to growing my business on the side of my regular job. We sit 5 years later with another child, three cars, two tractors, three four wheelers, two dirt bikes, trampolines and playsets and zip lines in the yard. Our house is fully paid off as well as all vehicles.... Had we not made that decision though it would have taken us another 15 years to get where we are today simply because of the monotony of the day-to-day grind and both of us working low-end jobs with not enough time to dedicate to get to high positions. Each scenario is different for every couple so I recommend sitting down and seeing how much extra you're making by having both of you work and how much would truly be lost if one did not work and the other was able to dedicate to their work more

    This is such a great conversation from you Kings.
    My take is that most black women have warped ideals surrounding relationships and it has some to do with social conditioning. Society is continuing to destroy black communities through divisive ideologies.
    To be with a “high valued man” means that relationship comes with sacrifice. A high income earner works more hours per day.
    Within a particular belief that women don’t want to contribute financially, 50/50, is a little sad to me. I have no problem with paying half. As you all pointed out…that 9% doesn’t exist. When we are all senior citizens, black people will be a lonely group if we don’t take control of our thoughts on relationships and reciprocity.

    A man who has built himself up financially, physically, and spiritually basically has paid the cost to be the boss, has options, so any woman who deals with him has to cater to his wants and needs or she could kick rocks. A man does not want a woman who is not willing to contribute to his progress.

    • @Msboochie2
      @Msboochie2 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A man who has taken the time to develop spiritually would understand that to have a healthy relationship both people must have their needs met. This is why women file for divorce the most because so many men were conditioned to consider only their needs. Especially American men. and these guys are speaking about a particular type of woman in their line of work. If all you have to offer is money self absorption you will attract only a certain type of woman. That is not the real world. Young black women who want to be wives and mothers are no longer limiting themselves to black American men. As a collective, most know nothing about marriage and leading a household. They don’t have what it takes to have a wife. No decent father would ever approve of their daughter marrying a man who thinks only his needs and wants matter. That’s an adolescent that is not even qualified to have a girlfriend. A daughter who respects and loves her father, who loved and protected her, as her mother does will never go against him, and those women make the best wives.

    He said what HE requires in a woman. He spoke solely for himself. For those women who are complaining, he’s not checking for them whatsoever. Therefore, it doesn’t matter. Men are equally allowed to have preferences and boundaries just as much as women. Plus if you don’t know how to cook, there are videos and cookbooks. There is no valid reason on why anyone doesn’t know how to cook.
    When he said “quiet” he meant for someone who doesn’t always have to be seen or heard all the time. I don’t understand why people don’t like their peace. Why do people have to be on 10 so much? High blood pressure is no joke.
    I was raised in a traditional household. I can’t do the Roommate or Child Husband thing. I know how to cook, clean and I don’t bother anyone so I really don’t want to be bothered. I just want to live life and have fun.

    Women want a traditional relationship/marriage but don’t hold traditional values and traits. Also, many women are saying they no longer want to do chores around the house as the women were in charge of back then. They want to eliminate things a woman should do in a relationship but they still want a man to be the provider. I’ve heard many women say times have changed but when you say why do you want a man to still provide , they’re quiet or say well a man is supposed to lead 🤣🤣. Many roles are eliminating from traditional relationships for a women but why do they all remain for the man? Women don’t want to work or pay bills . They just want to be a bad b*tch with the looks.

    To quote my wife just now..."Cam is kinda crude with it but he makes sense." The interesting thing is that my wife has a doctorate and her own private practice so she would be seen as a boss b@#$h in spite of the fact that for the first 11 years of our marriage she was home with our 4 children while I held it down saving money for her to go back to college. Women today want everything but don't want to endure the humility of the long term grind. We as a couple have lived it and my wife has done both because she told me that's what she wanted(a career and 4 children) and I fell in love with her as a intelligent black woman with her own life and did not want her to drop her dreams because we decided to have kids and we both knew it would take patience ON HER PART(because I just wanted to get married and have kids...I was already deep into my career at the time).
    (Edit)...As an afterthought I'll add the fact that she now makes enough money that I can switch careers and do what I really want. Moral of the story is that NOBODY is a self made "boss". Everyone either had someone hold them down while they grinded or they had someone extend a hand and gave them a shot. Ain't no real bosses...its a lie people tell themselves to feel good about themselves by taking claim or discrediting all of the people who got YOU where You are. Unless you've made billions and can literally buy cooperation "just because" and your last name is Winfrey/Carter/Knowles/Bezos/Musk go sit down homegirl...you aren't even in the same dimension as an actual boss.

    Respectfully, servicing your partner SHOULD BE the standard for relationships regardless of income or gender. Learn what your partner loves and responds well to (that’s within your power to produce), and flood they market with that shit. Be their peace and their pleasure. And as y’all build independently and together, more shit will become available.
    Westerners ARE too capitalistic though. We are indoctrinated to want the very most profit we can get for the lowest investment we can manage. That’s why we cheat and monkey-branch and misuse each other. We have been ingrained to see ourselves and each other as commodities with and for which to be negotiated.

      @@Baxter2012 I’m not entirely sure I understand your question. But I’d say yes. Even with kids, this should be the standard.
      Not minimizing the complications that kids bring to a relationship at all. Not even trying to or wanting to. But I believe that a concerted effort should be made to keep the pair bond strong. The health, safety, and success of the kid(s) definitely takes priority. But, if and where possible, the health and safety and success of the mother and father relationship should be honored and edified. It’s imminently easier to do that with someone who has proven to be all about servicing you, being your pleasure and your peace AND who receives that energy and motivation from you. It’s awfully idealistic. lol I know. But the alternative is the state of relationships that we have, especially in the Black community.

These are individuals, not households. Households is slightly more of course.

  • @latress2871

    Many times, women don't want to run a household especially career driven because of the historical treatment of women. From the beginning of time, women have been viewed as lesser than or in a subservient role. If men decide to be provider and embrace that it's fine. But women have options too. They should be able to say they don't want to hold down a full-time job and cook and clean. Women can decide the type of life we want and the time of man we want to be in relationship. Esso is right about girlfriend circles having a leader or sometimes several but will defer to one. The reason is because we trust her to do what's best for the group. What you all are leaving out is the controlling factor that women have been subjected to since the beginning of time. In the same way that Math said not to move in with your girl, that goes the same for women. How many women have given up total control to a man because he was the provider, he left and now she's destitute. The fact is that whether male or female, people need to be able to stand on their own two feet.

    There are so many things to unpack in this conversation. The term "bad bitches", role confusion, financial stability/equality, trust and communication. As a woman and of course I can't speak for all women but it is disturbing to me that under the guise of feminism there are women who enjoy being called a "bitch" and even moreso as a "boss bitch", a term that was always used to demean a woman. To add boss to it is a contradiction in terms. A woman is a boss manageing financial and business affairs but she is spiteful, unpleasant or disliked by the definitive meaning of the term "bitch." I would never want to be identified with that term as it relates to my ability to financially support myself well and handle affairs. That would seemingly just need the use of the term "boss" which is neither masculine or feminine. In western culture since the feminist movement, women left the home to work seeking equality in all matters of society, the problem with this is it changed the dynamic of relationships, the roles became confused. That is not to say that women can't navigate in the world and work and perform a plethora of duties, nor should men not help in the home however, the fight becomes who then leads in the household. The connotation of being a "boss bitch" is relative to the confusion of the male/female roles. The man is relegated to being the submissive and would require the woman to lead, protect and provide therefore the idea is a male is not needed in the home. This is the fallacy. Both sexes are needed in the home as well as roles are needed otherwise there is imbalance which we are clearly seeing in the children in their behaviors as well as the great decline in lasting, fulfilling relationships and marriages. The high earning ability associated with "boss bitches" further strains the identity of these individuals. Are they not boss if their earnings are not extensive, can they no longer lead without said income, do they no longer need the male influence without it? Again confusion in the role as well as a straining factor in a relationship. This will cause further disruptions in trust for both sexes in the relationship. He has to figure out where he fits, has to be subservient and in some cases rely on her income. She controls the purse, she distrusts him because he is not a "man" because he earns less (based on the ideology of the traditional roles men protect, provide, etc.) and the seeds of distrust grows. Overall, communication is the key. Most people do not want to take the time to ask those uncomfortable questions or watch their potential mate's moves. What is your credit score, how are you earning your money, do you own stock, insurance, crytpo, what are your debts, do you have savings, what do you feel about traditional roles, etc? All of these things contribute to the progression or demise or a relationship. Many of them should also determine someone's "boss" factor whether male or female. But these are just my humble thoughts which may not be popular in our community today but again these are my opinions. 🤷🏾‍♀️

He’s in the entertainment world where he probably gets checks on occasion that are 100k and beyond on a regular basis- so to him a 100k a year for his lifestyle would mean he’s broke. I have friends that are lawyers, Teachers etc..,,, who don’t make 100k a year but they live good lives.
