As a Hunter main, my tips for you: * Know your Hunter. Study its skills and use it at its utmost potential. * Do not be provoked by emoting survivors which are designed for kiting. Look for their decoder first (like Mechanist). * If you felt like you've chased a survivor for far too long, you might consider changing targets. * Don't risk a terror shock when you camp a chair. Just let the rescuer rescue the victim. After the victim gets out of the chair, focus aiming for him/her. Multiple of instances (Three was I believe the maximum) in putting a survivor in the chair would make them instantly fly. * Keep calm. If you only caught one survivor and the gates are open, your best bet is to force a tie. Don't be greedy to take down three survivors with you. Its too risky. * Always have Detention. Its useful for clutching later in the game. * When the survivors are provoking you at the gates, keep your head cool and hit them where it hurts. Karma will always find them. Its always hilarious because I always encounter toxic players like this who refuse to enter the gates and instead playing around with the Hunter. This would definitely force a clutch tie or even a victory. * And finally, everybody has bad games so don't let that lose let you down. You gotta get up and learn from your mistakes. Experience will help you improve.
Those are actually good tips! there was this one match where i know i was about to get a tie or a lose, detention was out, enchan is eliminated, seer was outside the gates, novelist was on his last chair and doctor was there being cocky. I ended up having a win 😂😂
One tip that I find very useful for me as a dual faction is to commentate everything even if you aren’t very good at the hunter or survivor. Like “I’m gonna chair this guy and then chase this guy. The other guy healed, so the decoder must be at the shaking cipher.” I think this helps you really think about each action so that your nonexistent viewers don’t learn from your dumb mistakes. Its like critiquing and analyzing yourself without the dread of rewatching all the footage. I feel like saying it out loud really allows you to absorb the information instead of brushing it off.
It's nice to see hunter tips, I'm always seeing tips on survivors, how to kite, and use their abilities. Hunter tips are so scarce, so I hope more people will talk about tips for hunters, and how to counter certain survivors!
as you have (might’ve) seen from my gameplay, try to pressure ciphers throughout the game as even with quick downs, if you aren’t buying yourself time by harassing survivors, you will lose. if you know the survivors locations, don’t be afraid to leave the chair. or, in short, hastur supremacy.
tip: dont give up. Even if it looks like youre gonna lose, you could clutch a match with a tie. 2nd tip: STAY CALM!!! Dont start panicking! It will only cloud your game sense and make it harder to make rational decisions making it harder to win. 3rd tip: Changing personas and characters. Some hunters and survivors are better/worse on different maps. eg, joseph is better on smaller maps than bigger maps. It could also help your game sense since it gives you more experience with other characters. Hope this helps for everyone watching!
Exactly I won a match were I only eliminated one surv when they popped the last cipher and clutched and got all of them. I was playing Undead in ranked
I'll list my tips for hunters, though please make similar for survivor sometime:) As a survivor (low tier but still) I'd say that hunters are much easier to play. I watch top player matches and almost 0 times 4 survivors escape. Hunters have powerful skills, move fast, it requires incredible skill+luck to dodge a hunter's attack if he's right behind you. Detention is OP. How to win: 1. Watch videos about spawn points on this channel 2. Prioritize decoders early game or someone you can eliminate guaranteed 3. Once a survivor is knocked down, don't grab him immediately. You have about 20s until he self-heals. (you can look up exact numbers for the Doctor and Persona %, as I remember the default time is 30s) Look around, maybe someone's hiding nearby or is ready to harras you. Give them a hit:) 4. Don't be too afraid of pallets. So many times I dropped them too early, or got hit by a hunter mid-animation. 5. Have your strategy for chairing. I think to be at the chair when a rescuer is near is the best option. Don't panic, look closely. Just hit 1 time exactly when you see a survivor is not on the chair anymore, so 2nd and maybe the last chair for him. 6. Have fun. When you're stressed to get a win, you might lose focus. So play around, experiment, and you'll get your wins! :) Thanks 😜
The two main ones to note (in my opinion) are changing your play style mid-game and proxy(distance) camping. Another good thing to note is that changing your play style relates not only to kiting and looping, but also camping, control, etc... For example, if a survivor sees that a hell ember is using his embers to stop the rescue instead of his puppets, they will be much less scared of the puppets, making it easier to use them. An example of control might be a mad eyes. Say a mad eyes always expects a survivor to run in a straight line and fences them with that in mind. They don't get very many hits like that, but they also won't get many hits never expecting the survivors to run in a straight line. However, if the survivors see one playstyle, they will attempt to avoid the spikes of that particular playstyle. Thus, a good mad eyes will switch between going for spikes at different places and rotations.
I def have trouble keeping calm most of the time when tryna hunter main xD Can't stand the pressure haha. Hopefully tho someday I can be a lil more confident to play hunter :,
i didn’t even realise the significance of the map each particular hunter spawns in until today- a very skilled hunter got a 0 kill because of the map dependence 😔
Me who uses wu and has a pretty good teleport accuracy and can teleport to anywhere- After a someone's on chair- *teleports so that now theres 1 person on chair one person rescuing and the other one being chased making it 3 ppl not decoding*
For me, what works is varying between hunter and surv Why? My experience on what I do on my survs match help me see what usually are best things to do and what others will usually do, for example I use Antonio, and by now I'm decent at predicting the survs path with strings because it's paths that I usually take
I remember I couldn't find the survivors and wasted 40 secs and the kiter kited me the whole match with some harassed and owl then when the cipher pop I downed one survivor but two of the survivors tried to rescue I was confused because their taking a risk to save one survivor they should have escape for a guaranteed win I was so happy
Tip : people should know he pros and cons of hunter as a Wu chang main I always use teleport ability due to Wu Chang's Great map control and I recommend not camping and pressure the decoders
as a hunter main there is different feeling when playing on dif devices.when playing on phone the pressure is strong And the pleasure when prov them is unimaginable🙂.i Don't know bout pc tho🤔
everyone is always telling me about wiggling ciphers but i literally cannot see the wiggling. is this something to do with image quality or just me not looking for the right thing?
Personally as a dev I would increase a lot the time to decode and change some things about the rescue. Like for example the survivors can stay as long as they want on the chair but can be put only several times, that would force the hunter not to camp too much without making the survivors too powerful by wasting the hunter’s time as they would have to decode longer. Also that would make decoders even more targetted since the difference in decoding would change more depending on characters with decoding buffs and debuffs.
@@Andehirt Nope because in my idea of rework a match would last way longer, so that means the pallets won't be as "op" as they were because in the end of a match only a few of them would stay (maybe even nothing). That would change some perspective of the game including the persona that both survivors and hunters choose.
@@Andehirt I wish they would remove all those pallets in tight areas that you are forced to break to move on hunters should have the option to choose whether or not they break a pallet.
