There's a couple of facts that I already knew, but for the most part was surprised! Thanks for this video breakdown on one of my all time top favorite Christmas movies! You should do Home Alone! Just the fact that the house flood scene was done in the high school swimming pool that John Hughs shot The Breakfast Club in is pretty crazy!
Here’s a fun fact. When Clark had his rant look at the bottom left side of the screen and you will actually see a crew member in front of the camera. Another mistake they made is auxiliary is spelled wrong when they turn on the auxiliary nuclear power in the Christmas lights scene.
@@garrettsmith8591 That’s awesome! I also heard that during the rant all the cast were wearing his cue cards around their neck so he could just read them off without memorizing!
This only adds to to Lethal Weapon's eligibility as a Christmas movie. Outstanding. Hard to pick a favorite quote though, some real killers in this movie. I like the one in your last 10 seconds of this episode, probably my family's most quoted. Lol But I always quote this one when I'm shopping. Clark: Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, kiss my ass. Kiss his ass. Kiss your ass. Happy Hanukkah. 😂
@@thebenforever 🤣 Yes! Thank you! Lethal Weapon IS absolutely a Christmas movie! If Die Hard is so is LW! And yes! That quote is one of my all time favorites!
Johnny Galecki who plays Russ in this movie also played the character David in the show Roseanne as well as the character Leonard from The Big Bang Theory.
@@bennetfox Wow! I didn’t know that! That’s a real shame. That was such an amazing part of movie and tv history, that’s been replaced for green screens for CGI. I guess practical effects on a back lot are about to be gone forever. What a shame.
The title song for Christmas Vacation was originally supposed to be sung by The Pointer Sisters but they declined. Mavis Staples sings the title song.
@@SuperMarioBrosIII Oh wow! I wonder why they didn’t want to do it? That song is so iconic!
Merry Christmas “shitter was full” lol

@@ShaneMoon-h6k I thought about doing Home Alone! So many cool facts about one, and two! Thank you for your comment!
While Clark is watching Christmas movies in the attic, a poster board sign is held up in the film that says, "Xmas 1959".
@@bennetfox I missed that one!
Todd and Margo's house was the house used as the Murtaugh house.
I heard aunt Bethany couldn’t remember the Christmas song in the script so they went with what she could remember the star spangled banner
@@exkhan2191 That’s amazing! Iconic scene!

Thanks for posting a video about facts that can be found in a 100 other videos.
You're Welcome! Don't worry, I got the sarcasm. It's a new channel. I'm learning. Thanks for watching!
Thanks @asymmetry9988, you inspired me to like this video, and I don't normally like videos...

The back lot where all of the houses were has been demolished and studios with green screens has been built in its place.
