Let's be thankful this generation has (at least) added 60fps in open world games to the conversation.
With the dickless Jaguar CPU, there was no hope for 60fps in the GTAs, Ass Creeds, Cyberpunk, etc. No hope.
At least now console players have 60fps in way, way more games.
Plus better image quality and visual presets.
Rockstar had said that this game had 4k upscaling on the 3 new consoles (in non-4k modes). Did this really happen?
@@oi118 No idea. I have the series S version and the 1440p mode just looks like 1440p to me. Don't see any upscaling.

It's amazing that GTA V was even released on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The consoles were 8 & 7 years old when GTA V was released.
Rockstar make technical masterpieces with every console generation. I imagine whenever we get to see gta 6 it'll be several years ahead graphically compared to other games and still run fantastically.

I'm still shocked at how good the 360 and ps3 still actually look. I still have my 360 hooked up and my kids used to play it all the time... those old games still look pretty damn good.
Nah it's the video make it look like that but if u play even on a 1080p screen on those consoles you will notice the consoles age it's outdated

Is quite impressive how rockstar games put their efforts making the game looks almost the same in all platforms (specially last and current gen, because the jump between 7th and 8th gen was the unique impressive)

I know right. You can see some visual changes on the current gen but come on ps3/360 versions to the ps4/one version was significant the graphics and framerate were a big improvement but last to current gen is an upgrade but i dare to say that the upgrade isn't even a necessity to enjoy the game

There's no reason why the Switch couldn't run this game. Rockstar just don't want to port GTA V unless you can play GTA V online.
You underestimate how well 360/PS3 games looked back then. The Anti Aliasing in later games worked really well. It's only a shame that they keep pushing this game, but yet to remotely put it on Nintendo Switch. Considering they could just base it off the 360 version and push it up to something like 900p docked.
I agree if rockstar doesn’t want to make a separate version for switch they should just port over 360 versions

GtaV was one of the best looking games on ps3/xb 360

The difference is how much the gpu and cpu can use
Ps3 has 256 for the cpu and 256 for the gpu
Mean while xbox 360 gpu can use up to 400mb of memory

They managed to do it with optimizations on pc hardware there’s a new graphics card every year so there’s no point in optimizations for pc but with consoles it’s the same hardware for 7 years so they can push optimizations like crazy

Lembro quando comprei o gta 5 na epoca do xbox 360 no dia do lançamento. Naquela epoca era absurdo os graficos e etc... Hj em dia a gente ve um video desses e percebe que aquilo realmente poderia melhorar.

Because current gen use ray traced shadows that are represented in real time and accurately with the softness.

xbox 360 only has 512mb of ram and 10mb of edram. crazy what devs can do with a console as old as that. I remember when it came out in 2005.

Well its sub 25 to 30 fps vs 60 fps for Current Gen consoles. Well worth the 10 bucks asking price.

Se que no es poca cosa lo que puede hacer las versiones de PS5 y XSX, pero comparado con el trabajo de la anterior generación, me terminaron debiendo. Y si hablamos, sobre todo, del trabajo de origen, bueno, ahí le exprimieron todo el jugo a esos dos sistemas PS3 y X360.
Además de no alcanza el Max de PC que me sigue sorprendiendo los detalles que puede lograr tener.

y las diferencias? no vas a mencionarlas? por ejemplo xbox 360 tiene mejor distancia de dibujado con respecto a ps3 y xbox one tiene mas hierba que la version de ps3 y xbox 360 pero ps4 tiene mas hierba que xbox one (por poco) xbox one tiene mejor fps que ps4 cuando conducis pero ps4 tiene mas fps cuando hay explosiones o disparos mayor distancia de dibujado en pc

How did they manage to make console version still look inferior to pc even after an update.
Because current gen consoles have the power of an RTX 2060 GPU or lower. Which is why I'm skipping this gen. Last gen is still holding up well.

Realmente en esta generación GTA V no cambio mucho en base la generación pasada, solo algunas sombras están mejor hechas y la oclusión ambiental algo mejor, pero de ahí no vi nada tan diferente

Worse than One X? Where is Unreal 5 tech demo on One X? Infinite 120 fps on One X? Fortnite 120 fps on One X? Warzone 90 fps on One X? Series S has much stronger CPU than One X. Even GPU is debatable thing as old Radeon R9 fury X had 9,6 TFLOPS and was worse than GTX 1070 that had 6,5 TFLOPS.
As long as this console will get shitty ports from One S there is nothing to expect. In fact Sony is practically forcing more people to get non digital PS5 due to their expensive market. This console is a banger of cheap next gen gaming. Not to mention that you can buy a used one for 200 $, lol.
