Don't know what a *blue* reverie is supposed to be but reverie means to be lost in thought. Based on that and the lyrics, I guess the song is about shutting out the chaos of the world and having a place for yourself where you can find peace, and the continuous struggle of maintaining that peace for yourself. In my opinion, ERRA has the most poetic lyrics of any band. Their lyrics always hit.
@@TheHaunting5231 Coming back to this after having seen Shogun's episode 4 "The Eightfold Fence". In the episode, Mariko tells Blackthorn about "the eightfold fence", a kind of meditative mental shelter where you go to destress. It's basically the same thing described in this song. That's so cool!!!
*one of Invent. Animate / Currents / Spiritbox / Jinjer / Sleep Token would all like a word with you 👀😂😂 No hit seriously I fuckin love ERRA but metal is in such a good spot rn I’m so happy
Seen them in STL in October 2020. Awesome show and excellent band live, compared to their younger days. This mature sound will def get them more exposure in the mainstream circuit. I just hope we don't have another Asking Alexandria, and by the looks of it we might be safe.
Too many of the reaction channels are always just "OMG! BREAKDOWNNN!!!!! BROOOO!" There's more to a song than just 30 seconds in the middle of chugging.

They breakdown was insane
I appreciated this song even more after listening to ghost atlas album.
Jesse seems to be incorporating elements of Ghost Atlas in the newer Erra releases. Jesse is a musical genius

Jesse has a way with words and a guitar
Blue is the color of calm, peace, and tranquility. Light blues have been shown to help insomnia as well.

Hopefully they just keep true to the way Erra has evolved...don't do what Architects or Novelists did.. .
Y’all in the chat really don’t know who is in the band.
🤣
For real....LOL.....
