I'm happy because I've found this amazing teacher. I understood all of things that you've spoken. I'm Brazilian, and I'd like to see more videos like these. TKS a lot!
When I was in middle school, it was prohibited to paint your nails or dye your hair. Almost every week we had the school prefects and teachers checking our hands and hair. However, now that my little nieces go to school, I've seen some kids (both boys and girls) with their hair dyed, and mostly girls with their nails painted. At first, I couldn't believe my eyes, because this was totally prohibited when I had their age. It just makes me think how things have changed. I like these lessons! They're fun to practice :) thank you for your effort!
Things really have changed. When I was a young girl we would never ever imagine using any nail color except for pink. Even red nail polish was considered too racy. Now people wear all colors! I wonder what we think of as "bad" today will be totally accepted as normal someday?
It reminds me when I was a young girl and my mother didn't consider that wearing jeans was an acurate way to stay on the street. She told me that I couldn't accompany her with that oufit, and I loved jeans! so my mom had to get used to them, On the other hand, telling shorts stories is an excelent way to learn English, thank you from Spain and congratulations for your chanel
I love the way you teach English by using story telling. It's the best technique ever. Also, you explain new vocabulary along the way, which obviously help listeners totally understand its meaning in that context. By the way, it'll be better if you can have daily conversation videos on a variety of topics which English learners really thirst for all the time. Tks. Keep up with your good work
@@EnglishCoach3Ts what I mean by this is conversations bt native speakers which are so useful for leaners who doesn't live in english-speaking countries
Your method od learning English is quite different than I have tried to use so far, but it seems to make sens. Your stories sound interesting and encourage me to learn more. I expect you to teach conversations which are the most important in learning foreign language.Thank you for such a nice lessons ❤
Back in my school days, communication with classmates during lessons was prohibited, so we resorted to writing messages on the backside of our notebooks and passing them along. This covert method allowed us to continue our conversations discreetly. That was 20 years ago. Now, times have changed significantly. We've transitioned to using modern gadgets to achieve the same goal, making it the new normal.
I watch videos in English every day and can say that yours is really helpful. It's short, doesnt take much time, the story you are telling is interesting and easy to understand. Our life has profoundly changed for last 50 years, that's truth.
Hello ma'am, I am from India and I can totally relate to your story because I have a similar experience like you. When I was in school, our teachers always use to tell us to tuck in our t-shirts, cut and trim our nails and wear clean shoes. And those who don't are made to do that. Yes, this kind of lessons are really helpful because it help us to learn new words, idioms, phrases and lots more. Also this helps us to improve our English listening skills. 'Stories to connect ' is the name which came to my mind for the series. Thank you.
Thank you Sarjam! It's so interesting to learn that this is relatable all over the world!! Wow! I really enjoyed reading your story! I plan on making more videos like this soon!
I understood you completely honestly, but it isn't normal to hear someone feeling peaceful like what I felt when I listened to your peaceful spirit. Thanks a lot.
I'm from Buenos Aires. I have subscribed to the channel and watched a few videos! I will try to explain my experience about learning english; maybe someone can feel represented. I think my self like a 2/3 year old. The child can understand when someone speaks to him, or someone asks him something, but lacks resources to have a conversation yet. Well, i hope still growing up! Thanks!
That is a good way to describe it. Like a child if you start saying what you can without being afraid to make a mistake you will learn more quickly. This is one of the reasons it is said that children can learn a language "better" than an adult!
I’m so glad how you handled the topic. Celar and cristal explained, in Mexico our parents used to said “fájate los pantalones” is a sort of properly dressed, pants and shirts. Regards
to me i like to watch your videos whatever you talk about, you speak normally , clearly and not fast so that i can improve my listening skill by your videos.
Hello and here is your new student joining from Seattle, Wa. 😊Could you please keep sharing stories and would be wonderful if you also could teach or share how TELL THE SRORY OURSELVES IN ENGLISH. Could you please teach us how to speak?
Hi Tanya, for me this videos are very helpful, and also i watch them not only once but also, many cases 2 or 3 times more. Always you pick something new, the same as when you read a book twice. Best regards.
You not just only told us a small story about your early experience but also an English learning lesson. Surprisingly I got it. Your way of teaching is different from ours in school, because English is our second language. We learned many years in English but found only little opportunity to use and practise it. We finally could only read and write, but couldn’t speak English fluently. But there is hope for us in the future.
Tanya,So glad find you recently.I really appreciate your way of teaching English. I've been in the United States from Europe for a long time. But I feel that I always need to improve my English. I will stay on your channel.
Welcome to our channel. Thank you for joining us! We can always improve our second language and we can also improve our first language for our whole life!
I would like to recommend an old and very useful method of learning any foreign language. It's about cards of different colors. For example I use yellow cards for nouns, blue for verbs, violet for adjectives/adverbs, pink for idioms. On the front side, there is a word and meaning in English, on the other side an example. One box for words that one has to repeat every day and the other for easier words to be repeated twice a week. It helps a lot. I also wrote the text using these words to use them in context. Still writing, there are always new words 😊😊😊
