This is a 3d origami tutorial on how to make 3D Origami parrot .
This 3d origami parrot model is made from 21 green,56 yellow , 107 blue , light orange 13 , 264 red , 1 orange and 4 black small 3d origami pieces ,pieces are made from rectangles of paper with dimensions of 3.6-2.7cm (64/A4) .And i use too 4 very small orange pieces (128/A4)
I use for this model 80 g/sm paper.

I did this model with magazine paper instead of buying paper from the store. it's environmentally friendly and looks beautiful. Just thought I'd offer it as a suggestion for anyone looking for new ideas. By the way I'm 12 years old.
why do we need to know your age?

Will it work if I make the bird from regular 3d origami triangles? example 32 pieces from a sheet of paper rather than 64 pieces?

Foarte frumos...l-am făcut și eu azi...Am văzut o grămadă care fac origami dar modelele tale sunt printre cele mai faine.Am încercat sa te copii și eu un pic..numai ca eu stau cam prost cu hârtia. ..Aici în italia nu se găsesc toate culorile și e și foarte scumpă.
+Alina Carp Multumesc , chiar nu stiu de ce e asa greu de gasit hartie colorata in unele tari , eu cumpar toata hartia de la o librarie din orasul unde locuiesc ( locuiesc intr-un oras foarte mic).
Pentru ca se foloseste mai mult cartonata decat asta normala de 80g.Neagra si maro am comandat din Romania si eu.Si italienii nu prea fac origami.

I buy that format of paper from a office supply store in my town . A4 format(210mm/297mm) it is the standard format of paper in my country and in many other countries .You can search on the Internet (but I do not buy paper online)

How do you increase on top of the inverted row?
+MIS315 I think I've figured it out.... Reza says it wrong - but what he does is after the inverted row you have 10 inverted pieces. This gives you 20 flaps to work with. Take a new piece, one of its pockets gets a flap, the other pocket goes empty. Next piece is normal (2 flaps for 2 pockets). Do the whole row like that, and you'll get a larger diameter to work with (like Reza's vid) ... I have 14 pieces in my new enlarged row. You could also have 13 pieces, depending on how you handle the last 3 pieces.... Reza didn't say how many pieces he ended up with - so I hope thats right... but it does look right.
Yeah, I finished it a while ago, though sad to say that the belly is incomplete; it was just too tight to add more pieces after doing the back without crumbling the whole thing so I left it that way. Still looks nice though

its very difficult to understand what are you doing there, i cant understand how you put them on because you are not showing the process properly its quite annoying when you are trying to make it but youre stuck because the video is poorly made
