RYAN ON THE PIANO! JON'S FIRST SHOW!?
The first show with a good bass player
They called Brent the day before I think and he didn’t answer so they called Jon and hoped Jon will be in time to play because he was at Chicago and also hoped that he knew the songs in time for this show and luckily he did. Firing Brent was the best decision they ever made because Jon was willing to be creative unlike Brent who apparently didn’t play a single bass part on AFYCSO (Brendon played the parts for him), didn’t cared about the creativity and business part of the band, and was partying really hard. Then, Brent and his brother filed a lawsuit on the band for not paying Brent his royalties but it settled out of court. This is what was said from what Ryan, Brendon, and Spencer in interviews about Brent when interviewers asked about what happened. The band had to adapted really quick because of how many tours they were doing and how they needed to improve every day. Brent was the anchor that was keeping the band back for taking any musical risks. The band was at risk of losing a lot fans because of them firing Brent and replacing him with Jon because of how the media thought that money and fame changed the band but it wasn’t the truth.
Only good thing Brent ever did for p!atd was bringing Brendon into the band. Aside from the obvious reason there's also the fact that Brent playing the bass in studio for Fever would probably have made it not sound as good
Ryan and Spencer goin insane this set
Also of course Jon did a great job knowing that this was literally the first time he was performing with this band
Someone plsssss turn up Ryan’s mic
RIGHT OGMHMHM
RYAN ON PIANO I CRIED HES SO CUTE
thank you Jon for bringing us here.
OMG RYANS ON PIANO AGAIN FOR THERES A GOOD REASON
I loved Brendon and Ryan’s hair in this
i used to have this saved on my laptop in 2007 as 5 mp4 files that i would watch one after the other. this now is the least pixellated i've ever seen the footage
I used to watch this frequently back in 2008ish.
I doubt this is the same upload I used to watch. I remember being way younger and being surprised about hearing Brendon cuss when he’d talk in between songs
It’s crazy to see this footage now. Kids don’t know how much work Panic put in during the early days.
Panic pre-2010 was on another level
Thanks jon.
Don't take this one down dude =P
