In my headcanon, the full potential of blood manipulation is achieved by forcing your own blood into the enemy's body (i.e. through making it travel inbetween cells until it enters the vascular system) and then cause mass coagulation or hemorrage, turning it into spikes, making it boil, etc.

My theory is that in the heyan period, the reason everyone was considered so strong is because jj fights were more formal and since the more restrictions like binding vows and giving up the advantage of keeping you technique a mystery makes the technique stronger the battles would have been more dramatic. Then sukana comes along and through using deception and raw power eventually the sorcerers adapted to be more deceptive and scrappy.
No, in all eras the enemies were always bastards, but the Heian era was special because Sukuna lived in it, the guy who truly understood things and showed others how powerful they could be (by the way, what kind of honor and formality is that all the sorcerers of the time united just to kill Sukuna, it is the same pussy move that the protagonists are doing now)
When Kenjaku divided Sukuna into 20 cursed objects, that's when all the honor and formality crap started
Rct and blood manipulation paired with yuji literally being built different. Thing is I believe blood manipulation users have a maximum technique like a full blood nuke which kills the user , the 3 clans were the pinnacle there must be something not shown by blood manipulation users , Like the zenin clan can use mahoroga if they are willing to die , the gojo clan literally has six eyes and limitless , theres at least one hidden weapon the kamo clan has hidden.

One thing for sure that we can get from this is that Blood Manipulation is clearly Gege's favorite CT.

The fact this ability wasn't present in the main cast but it keeps coming back and constantly growing in relevance is wild. Gege simply fell in love with Blood Manipulation and honestly I can't fault him.

The human brain naturally restrains your bodies full power, as releasing it at full capacity would basically make your metabolic rate so high that long term survival would be impossible. It'd be cool if through blood manipulation in his brain, Yuji could temporarily remove that 'safety lock', bringing out 100% of his strength. This brain manipulation through blood could go as far as even numbing pain and fatigue he feels. I think something like this would suit Yuji well
yuji is already basically immune to pain and fatigue
also the sorcerer's body means barelly anything in a fight since 99% of they power is from CE reinforcement
even yuji's bullshit level of natural body strenght is nothing in comparison to his ce reinforcement
yuji without CE couldnt even react to a fingerbearer and was being ripped apart easily
unless u are Maki or Toji, CE reinforcement is 99.99% of your physical stats
@vil97 I dont think thats entirely true. Take Blood Manipulation's Flowing Red Scale for example; it increases your physical capacity not by CE reinforcement, but by increasing the bodies pulse rate, temperature, and red blood cell reproduction. This offers a pretty substantial physical boost separate from CE reinforcement, as seen with Choso and Noritoshi. Imagine Flowing Red Scale, the hypothetical ability I mentioned above, Yuji's raw strength, and CE reinforcement all in combination. I imagine that'd make Yuji able to keep up with Sukuna.
RCT with blood manipulation is insanely good. Yuji has to have near Gojo levels of cursed energy at this point. Also if Yuji did in fact eat his brothers he should be able to manifest them as Shikigami using his blood as a medium.
yuji paired with an ability like flowing red scale will probably put his physical stats on a level maybe even higher than maki and toji. also if yuji got other related blood manipulation ability's from the rest of the brothers we could see his blood rot sukanas body or maybe even blood shikigami.
he’d only gain an increase in cursed energy from eating them.

i agree that if he learns flowing red scale he’d be a LOT more of a menace, but gege has stated if he were to eat the cursed womb paintings he’d only gain cursed energy.

1 he would just absorb it and gain a cursed energy boost.
2 the cursed womb would be in the same situation as sukana and they would live inside of yuji this would also mean that yuji would eventually get there CT
3 if sukana was currently inside off yuji when the second outcome happened he would be a hater and obliterate the death painting and yuji would receive no benefit
since its pretty much confirmed that he got blood manipulation it means he would get all the CTs. (also it makes alot of sense since choso told yuji there brothers would live on inside of him and this would make the statement literal )

also to be "one of the big three" doesnt necesarily mean u completly rival them in power
like u could have the same potential power in a fight as gojo lets say, but simply lose to him due to bad matchup(IE no way to bypass infinity but rivaling red blue purple in destructive potential, just like an idea, u can match someone's power but lose to them)

A cool sure hit idea for his domain would be something like Askin's ability from Bleach where he can make the opponent's blood poisonous to themselves, it can also explain why Yuji hasn't used it yet despite everyone dying because Sukuna is highly resistant to poison, has RCT and Yuji having traces of Sukuna's CE makes his attack further weaker against him so he had to reduce Sukuna's RCT output to a level where it's impossible for Sukuna to outright tank this sure hit
so now would be a perfect time for him to use it
Whenever I think of blood in jjk i think of rituals so what if another application of blood manipulation is blood rituals or blood sacrifices and rct would be the door to enable blood users to use other people’s blood in these rituals cuz i can’t think of anything else that could be the reverse of blood manipulation other than controlling other people’s blood.
There are two ways i can see blood sacrifices or rituals being used:
1) in the middle of a battle where the blood manipulation user could use there own blood in a quick ritual or sacrifice which would give them some sort of advantage but of course not cost free, so like a special binding vow only for blood users. Or they could use their opponent’s blood which will have an effect like Nobara’s straw doll technique.
2) After a battle where they use their enemies’s blood in a bath like Sukuna had when he got Megumi’s body which would give them some kind of passive stat boost and the more they did this the stronger they’d get? Cuz i feel like this is something they would have done in the olden days but have just lost the knowledge about.
But that’s just my take on other applications blood manipulation could have.
In a weird way Kenjaku usurped the Kamo clan, now his son could in theory take over the clan.
Yuji will bring to rememberance why the kamo clan is considered a big 3 clan. Like what if he made a binding vow like mei mei and caused his blood cells to cease living (without rupturing them) and give his technique a huge amp. Let’s call this hypothetical technique Blood^2(square). Imagine if he used this binding vow then used Blood^2hardening, Flowing red^2 scale and Flowing red^2 scale: Stack
imagine if he hit a black flash while using, the hypothetical Blood^2hardening & Flowing red^2 scale: stack. Bro might oneshot the merger.
He didn’t just pull off a supernova, he did so without visibly compressing the blood first. This means either 1. He used a similar ability that’s different in application or 2. Yujis so skilled already he can compress the blood and explode it with a gesture from a distance.
The reasonable side of me says 1. The diehard Yuji glazer says 2.
For those of you who may not know about anime lore or power lore, blood manipulation has been known to be one of the most OP, ancient, and scared powers
This makes sense tbh. We’ve seen 2/3 of the top families cursed abilities used to their highest capability in gojo and sukuna using 10 shadows. The Kamo clan is considered the 3rd main family but we haven’t seen anything close to why they are considered one of the top 3.
so he has blood manipulation along with the 6 other painting abilities, such as stiffening and degeneration of muscles, and at the very end degeneration of bones and to name a few. and i have a theory you might agree with or might not but yuji's hands could be the reverse cursed techniques of the death paintings to increase his physical abilities along with blood manipulation to boot.

I think it would be really cool to see Yuji pull off a maximum technique. I just can't see Yuji pulling off a domain, its such a complex power that canonically requires the user to think in a selfish way... Yuji is not like that and thats not a bad thing, his fighting style is direct and straight-foward. A big, flashy and overwhealming finishing melee attack with maybe some bonus effects to make it more usefull and tricky to deal with than just _big damage_ would be perfect

maybe Yuji can also manipulate the carbon in his body to enhance his muscle output. Like straight up just temporarily turn into one punch man. Since Gege likes to mix science with his story let’s goooo… Bone manipulation he probably can become wolverine(which is what Logan was rocking before his permanent enhancement). Like Yuji is a WOLVERINE… I think him learning RCT just enhancing his body supernatural healing process. Like Yuji got to have healing factor already built in all that damage his body took even after Sukuna left his body. He was healing rather quickly. He just full of so much potential and surprises! I hope we get see just how creative Gege can get with Yuji powers.
I imagine the 3 clans and their inherited techniques being used to balance out power, meaning each technique should be able to to counter and or overpower one another to keep said balance if need be
A domain expansion for blood manipulation would be godly. However my guess is Yuji has more cursed techniques in his arsenal.
Since Yuji knows rct it's very likely he'll be able to use blood manipulation reversal ( manipulating blood in other peoples bodies) time to boost Maki or make sukuna explode from the inside out

I wonder what blood manipulation reversal would produce. Gojo after learning rct was able to reverse is technique to form reversal red . Yuji has blood manipulation and rct and I'm just thinking, is it possible to do the same with blood techniques and what would be the result?
Yeah I was thinking about that too. Maybe cursed technique reversal for blood manipulation can siphon blood from opponents to heal yourself like a boosted RCT. Or maybe even could allow the user to control other peoples blood which would be absolutely deadly. He could basically make sukuna explode.
I think we've seen an application of Noritoshi's circulation technique, when yuji bites his wrist I'm guessing he's consuming his own blood and since he's an object soaked in CE the amount of blood he consumes isn't proportional to how much CE he gets back allowing him to create more blood and use rct.
Maybe he can make his own version of cleave and dismantle
Incredibly thin super compressed strands of blood Yuji can use like whiplash would be an interesting take on it. Compress the blood enough to make it invisible and Yuji could take someone’s limbs off with a flick of the wrist
This confirms yuta is alive because the peak of the gojo clan, peak of kamo clan and peak of Zenin clan will be shown at some point which is megumi, yuji and yuta
Peak of Gojo clan was already shown through Gojo. Peak of Zenin Clan was shown through Sukuna using 10S. All that's left is Kamo Clan.

This might just be me but I believe that Yuji will be able to create his own pseudo arrow similar to how sukuna did with piercing blood against gojo since we know that Yuji was aware of what happened when Sukuna was in control.
Flowing red scale and RCT combo will make Yuji too fast and too strong to keep up with. He’ll definitely be the strongest and fastest guy in the series
I’m thinking they used someones domain as a cheat to train, like the sumo wrestler Miyo when maki was able to train for a long time and begin to see things differently while only seconds went by in the real world

In my opinion i think yuji is gonna die and return as a cursed spirit. Why do i think think this? Because yuji is weak rn and he needs a massive buff if he's gonna fight the merger and the most logical way to bokst yuji is to turn him into a cursed spirit like when noaya died and came back stronger than before as a cursed. Second, the only way for sukuna to commence the merger he needs to kill everyone in the culling games so if yuji comes back as a cursed he can fight the merger.

I highly doubt it. I think Choso is the pinnacle of BM cos of 2 reasons.
1) He can use the techniques of his brothers coupled with his own (and I'm pretty sure he should be able to use the ones from the brothers that Yuji absorbed too)
2) He can convert Cursed Energy to blood cos he's half cursed spirit. So unless he runs outta CE, he cannot run outta blood to manipulate.
Now except Gege decides to do an asspull, he'll give Yuji the aforementioned but if he doesn't then Yuji ain't shit. I think the reason they removed Choso from the battlefield is to let Yuji "shine".
Btw, people complained bout Sukuna getting asspull after asspull. Everything bout Yuji right now can be regarded as asspull. He learnt RCT in a month, something that Higuruma, who's supposed to be a genius on par with Gojo, couldn't do. He got soul seizing punches as per Yuki's research or something. this is something that would've guaranteed Gojo's victory if he also learnt how to use it. There's the body swapping technique too. He gained blood manipulation too. And why hasn't he run outta cursed energy? He's been using RCT on serious damages. While Higuruma does have genius on par with Gojo it supports why he couldn’t learn RCT instantly. For some people like Shoko RCT comes natural and Yuji could just be one of those people. Furthermore it’s highly likely RCT hadn’t been explained properly to Yuji til the Timeskip. So since it’s been established some people can learn RCT easier then Yuji’s just one of those people (I will say in vids I made a mistake of comparing this to Higuruma in the past when I shouldn’t have cause some people can learn it easier)

Yeah, people forget that without Gojo, they had only the limitless CT users without the six eyes or one six eyes user without the limitless CT and not someone, who can use both (especially to the degree that Gojo brought it.) Even 10S wasn't truly capitalised until Sukuna "hijacked" Megumi because they couldn't control someone like BIG RAGA THE OPP STOPPA until Sukuna. The only reason why they haven't been talked bad is because they at least had usable CTs. We haven't seen someone in the Kamo clan that has BM and bring it to such degree like Gojo or Meguna hence the downplay on the CT even though it is one of the most versatile CT in the series with capabilities in long, mid and short distance on the offense while also strenghten the defense and creativity on what moves you can do.
